MVP, knowing DRG's style countered it perfectly on that map. Basically DRG has a very aggressive zerg style that deals with the heavy harass style such as MMA's. MVP simply opens hellions, and takes map control early. This makes it hard for DRG to take the third, and also puts him in the dark, which means he can't just drone up like crazy safely. MVP meanwhile simply keeps the zerg from taking 3rd while he starts to macro up an army like crazy. When his first army moves out, it's massive since he hasn't used any of it in drops, and it's right during the moment zerg attempts to take third. Zerg won't have the amount of units to crush that initial push. MVP then utilizes the map terrain to set up a contain outside the zerg's third, while simply pumping out more units. Basically the zerg, now being stuck on 2 bases for ever, is forced to kill the terran army, which of course fails because MVP's army at that point is too large. MVP also knows of DRG's mutalisks harass style, and pretty much denied any damage to his army and his base.

That match vs DongRaeGu almost brought a tear to my eye. It sort of reminded me of NaDa's SK Terran. Not in terms of the overall strategy but the fact that it was done with flawless mechanics & inch-perfect execution.

IMMvp has always reminded me of NaDa both in physical looks and gameplay mechanics. Though I think he has had a lot more time to spend on SC2 than NaDa since he was so preoccupied with university studies. That's why he's so much better at the moment IMO. I think IMMvp is the only player in the world that has a chance of beating IMNestea in a bo7 atm (maybe MC too). ^^

Hmm seems like a good amount of people aren't fans of mvp's persona. He's not very aggressive like idra and mc, but also not very shy like haypro. I personally think he's very humble and shows plenty of joy when he wins. You can see the emotion in his face when he walks out of a booth after a win. The entire face smiles. I think a lot of people don't understand mvp well because he doesn't speak english like mc, and doesn't do many ceremonies like other koreans such as mma (hadouken). This may make him seem a bit bland but I think how chill and cool he acts is what makes him a favorite for many people.
