Man, being a Mvp fan is such a treat. He almost never disappoints. He is incredibly innovative, simply the best mech TvZ player and probably the best TvT mech as well, he always shows his huge display of different styles !
I've been a fan since the first time I watched him in MLG Raleigh, he brought me to GSL, and he is still delivering. He really looked like the old great Mvp today outplaying Symbol !
I'm confident !

as happy as i am that mvp advanced against all odds i just dont see him winning against rain, never saw mvp as strong in tvp and rain plays some stellar pvt

I can't even count on one hand how often that exact thing has been uttered, only to be proven wrong. :p Rain could win, it's an entirely realistic proposal, but to call him a favourite strikes me as slightly extreme. Happy beat Rain earlier in GSL btw. And I think TaeJa played like shit against Rain. Rain is good, but he's not untouchable. However, he shouldn't be underestimated either, and he's fully capable of winning (This is generally the case, at the very top of skill, everyone can beat everyone pretty much).

Mvp has good TvP, but we never got to see it much because for most of his period of dominance, protoss weren't doing very well.

I don't think it is realized yet how big of a deal MVP's wins are. Symbol is not a cheesy/unconventional Zerg, he's standard, and he's a boss zerg. He doesn't mess around. And MVP beat him straight. In fact, Symbol only won when he cheesed. That first game is an amazing revolutionary twist on the TvZ meta anyways, MVP roolz dude.

Most definitely! Mvp has always shown concern for other players.

Remember when he wrote, at the end of the interview, about how some players were clinging on to the game because they are scared to move on, and he advises them to move on because progaming can also close off paths?

My jaw dropped in awe when I read that. The amount of consideration for all of his fellow progamers, whether they are from the eSports Federation or Kespa, whether they are out to kill him in the GSL finals or whether they are his practice partners, always warms my heart.
