I've been a fan since the first time I watched him in MLG Raleigh, he brought me to GSL, and he is still delivering. He really looked like the old great Mvp today outplaying Symbol ! I'm confident !

Here's proof: In the GSL Ro8 and above (not including Blizzard Cup because that tournament had a weird format + didn't give much time for preparation), Mvp is 52-22 in games. That is a win percentage of 70.27%. If we apply this win percentage to the entire series (assuming his 70% win rate is true for each game of the set), he has a 84.05% chance of winning the series. Obviously, this 84% chance doesn't really mean anything at all, but it's reassuring knowledge. The majority of his losses come from Bo1 and Bo3 series. When it gets to a Bo5, Mvp buckles up and simply does not lose. In the GSL Ro8 and above, he has only lost to Leenock (2-3 loss in Ro4) and MMA (1-4 loss in the finals, but he won BlizzCon right after...). Every other time... he simply straight up won the entire thing. (By the way, this means that Mvp has NEVER lost in the Ro8!) That's why Mvp will win this GSL too! Believe in the King! Make that 55-23, a win percentage of 70.51%. Mvp crushing the IM Killer! SYMBOL DOWN, RAIN NEXT! :D :D :D I'm soooooo giddy right now, it's unbelievable. Symbol was called the IM Killer, but conventional stuff doesn't work on Mvp. Remember the Champion's Curse/Runner-Up Curse? Mvp totally ignored that too. Mvp! Mvp! Mvp!

Happy beat Rain earlier in GSL btw. And I think TaeJa played like shit against Rain. Rain is good, but he's not untouchable. However, he shouldn't be underestimated either, and he's fully capable of winning (This is generally the case, at the very top of skill, everyone can beat everyone pretty much). Mvp has good TvP, but we never got to see it much because for most of his period of dominance, protoss weren't doing very well.

Remember when he wrote, at the end of the interview, about how some players were clinging on to the game because they are scared to move on, and he advises them to move on because progaming can also close off paths? My jaw dropped in awe when I read that. The amount of consideration for all of his fellow progamers, whether they are from the eSports Federation or Kespa, whether they are out to kill him in the GSL finals or whether they are his practice partners, always warms my heart.
