Shame, was hoping he'd get #1 for the bye, he needs to get a bit of rest sometime.

Very likely his Ro6 will be a TvT or TvZ though unless Naniwa impresses, so that's something ![]()

But each bonjwa has a distinct feel to him, not good results alone. Even if one sc2 player would have won every possible tournament up until now I'm afraid he still wouldn't be a real bonjwa... MVP is one of the best players in the scene for sure (maybe the best, I'm not to judge) but I think he misses the feel the BW bonjwa's have. edit: but we shouldn't make this a bonjwa discussion

MVP clearly surpassed that, and not just slightly.for a few months he's been such a dominating force in sc2 that it is absolutely unmatched. the whole game lacks something to have such a great story around one player/playstyle as saviors or oovs... but we have a player now who has 5x the wins as everyone else and is the clear favorite in every single tournament he enters. i'm not even a rabid fan of him, but i recognize true power;)

I just googled this. Bonjwa's not even a legit Korean word -_-;; Which means it is up to TL to create a label for dominating players like Mvp.

I like his nickname of "The Final Boss". That's my personal "bestplayerintheworld" status since I'm a game dev and I only think in game terms haha. So until I see someone who is more of a final boss, MVP is the final boss. Besides, I prefer to think of MVP as Magikarp / Gyarados thanks to his opened mouth, whereas final boss can become another player at some point...maybe...

Most Valuable Player 2011 IMO he should get most valuable player 2011 no matter what. Nobody has been as dominant as him but I am rooting for MVP to win this blizzcup because its just so nice to see dominant players ![]()

people are overlooking the most important one... MVP he lives up to the name, day in and day out. and because of that, i feel the term is twice as strong than just being called mvp for whatever reason people have played off of it as well, such as: the mvp of protoss the mvp of zerg the fuckin mvp bonjwa, final boss, magikarp, etc. cool names, but seriously guys! mvp needs no other term, he's established with his own in every way ![]()
