Does it say a lot to anyone else that at the age of 17, Spanishiwa is able to 4-0 a player who is considered one of the most creative players out there (TLO)? Everyone has heard of Spanishiwa's build, yet with all his creativity even TLO was unable to break it in a bo7 ZvT!

This guy has so much talent and potential, I really hope he goes pro so we can see Tastosis' casting of his extremely exciting and creative playstyle when we wins the GSL!

Even considering TLO being in a slump or being unused to the playstyle of Spanishiwa... a fantastic job getting a 4-0 on TLO. Spanishiwa showed being able to do a number of variations on his core framework, demonstrated that he is able to beat TLO whether TLO applied fast pressure or a fast expand, and was fairly close to handling even the infamous 6 rax strategy which TLO used to defeat IdrA.

Excellent work so far, Spanishiwa, and I'm certain we all look forward to seeing you in the future!

spanishiwa is a by definition, a "nerd baller". much respect to you dude keep up the good work. you showed people they didnt need roaches hydras corruptors to beat protoss; among other things of course. spanishiwa shows that you can play sc2 as zerg however the fuck you want. even if its unconventional. so thanks for the inspiration spanishiwa! keep on doing your thing we all love it.

a side note: spanishiwa was answering streamer questions and was asked if idra would ever adapt his playstyle. he said no of course not. just yesterday nasl was interviewing idra about the way he played one of his games and he admitted he borrowed some of his ideas from our spanish hero. just thought id share that.
and iDope, dunno if you're trolling or misinformed but hes 17. or at least in highschool still. try not to tell people what to do or fix something off of erroneous facts. ^_^

well in my personal experience, spanishiwa has demonstrated that "the norm" and "standard" are nothing more than words. they're useful words dont get me wrong. but the amount of clout they used to hold in my perspective on the game influenced the way i played strongly. like getting speed first thing every game for example. i always felt obligated to pickup ling speed with my first 100 gas. but thats not always the best choice in situations. another thing i used to consider necessary was a mid game zvp composition based on heavy roach play. but that isnt always the best choice either.

i could give more general examples too. nydus for instance was considered an all in tactic. baneling drops were used almost exclusively en masse against protoss, with less emphasis on utilizing them for worker harass. the entire build hes showcased; while its beatable and not always the best build one can do in part because all builds have exploitable factors in their game design mind you. is still an inspiration to play the game how i want. and from there i've noticed my plays more diverse and adaptable.

i joined a lobby my friend was in on a whim yesterday and the low and behold spainishiwa was playing tQWannaBe. the following game ensued.

i was thrilled to spectate this game live needless to say. and it only solidified my love of this kids playstyle. i didnt want to bother him in game afterwards so i felt the need to show some love here on his fanpage.

I'm in on this, started using his build on ladder yesterday, really good stuff.

As for his age, it says on the clan site not only that he is 27, but that he was born 1983. 17 -> 27 might be an easy typo to make, but to make a typo of 1993 into 1983 on the same page? Sounds amazing to me.

christ, I guess some people will just keep asking the questions that have been asked before, indefinitely. It says 27 on the site, yes, and it was entered that way because apparently entering anything under 18 doesn't work on that site according to him. He's fucking 17. Drop it
