IEM Singapore EU qualifier right now, but Naniwa isn't participating...perhaps he is already invited to the group-stage at the main event (but the online qualifier put you straight into top 16 as in IEM New York)...Or perhaps he just feels it's too much to go to every tournament...but I was hoping I could get to see some naniwa-games tonight

Except for Oz beating HerO the quarterfinals went well.

Tomorrow the most important thing is that Oz doesnt finish in 1st place, then he only to need finish atleast 9-12th at the finals to pass NaNiwa. Otherwise he need to finish atleast 3/4th place at the finals.

There's nothing retarded about it. Allowing fans to track their favourite player throughout the year in a system where each event matters for the next one and results of other players you normally wouldn't pay attention to is what WCS does so well.

Players at the season 3 finals that can pass NaNiwa:

soO: Need to finish 3/4th or higher at the season finals to pass.

Dear: Need to finish 3/4th or higher at the season finals to pass.

Oz: Need to finish 3/4th or higher at the season finals to pass.

VortiX: Need to finish 2d or higher at the season finals to pass.

ByuL: If he beats Polt in the AM finals, he need 2d or higher at the season finals. If he loses to Polt he will need 1st place at the finals.

Trap: Need to finish 1st at the season finals to pass.

Genius: Need to finish 1st at the season finals to pass.

Hack. Need to finish 1st at the season finals to get tied.

Revival: If he finish top 2 in his group in AM challenger to get tied.

I think this is accurate ( really tired right now

)

One more player can pass NaNiwa. If a tie happens I don't know how the will solve it. The chances of Revival to finish top 2 in his challenger group is big but we wont know until october 30 - november 3 when the challenger groups are played.
