I just realized that NaNiwa didnt drop a single map against anyone except Polt, who went on to win the entire tournament. I know this kind of speculating is useless, but what if Naniwa would have been up against Hyun in the ro4... would there have been a Nani/Polt finals? Naniwas PvZ is very strong atm.

Amazing play naniwa!! The 1st game vs polt in the semis made me feel so happy and so confident in your pvt play. It was not completely onesided but you won convincingly. The other two games looked from a spectators perspective like you could take it. So the semi was much closer than the results show. You once again show that you are on top of your game. Keep up the good work! Gonna love to see you in Korea!

I'd really like to see a Naniwa - Stephano before the french zerg retires. It would be a good chance to see the two most skilled foreigners of SC2 against eachother for the last time. Naniwa is good vZ and Stephano vP is still strong so we'll see a good series.

I agree I got surprised too :o
To Snute's defence though he is at least up and coming.

But Naniwa is on a whole other level than other foreigners. Espc now in retrospect when it seems like Stephano will retire without any real achievement in Korea :3

According to twitter it looks like he's at the EG-TL house. EG must be a bit sad that their subbrand has yielded the best current foreigner in SC2 and the best foreign dota team, while their main brand is not doing quite as well. Not to say EG is doing bad, just that alliance is on top of the game(s) at the moment.
