This is not good for his Korean practice at all...

Naniwa has just throwing a game witch wasn't effecting the rest of the tournament at all and get punished like this??
Can't believe it - in Germany we have seomthing called "verhältnismäßigkeit der Mittel" i think it's proportionality or comparativeness in english...
Naniwa is totally committed to Code S - what the fuck they doing?

Sign me up. He got every support from me now!

This is the most sane post around.
I, personally, disagree with the punishment.
I think a simple slap on the wrist and a warning (and a change of rules) should suffice. If they put a specific rule in, then it would not be a problem.
I hope Nani can qualify back, but it will probably ruin his mental state for the next tournament

Perfect, now you have time to practice for real!
Btw you should smash the Code S trophy on the floor when you get it.

The Koreans would have an heart attack!

Btw, did he get banned from the entire gsl january or just lost his code s seed? Can he still play in the qualifiers for code a or do he need to wait to the next gsl?
|
Wait what the hell? They can't throw him out for that? Unless they specifically ban that buildorder or give him some kind of warning? Thats bullshit I dont care abaut GSL if there is no forgeigners in it to be honest. People
Where is the official Gom responce?
They call him unprofessional and ban him without any -1 sub to GOM
|
I feel so bad for this kid
first 3 really really close losses and now this.
not even a fan, but i really hope nani keeps going even after this
|
Entire GSL january.
terrible decision, joke tournament
|
I sent an email and tweeted to gomtv about this. Starcraft pro gaming is apparently a popularity contest and not actually a matter of who's the best.

He should still be able to compete in the preliminaries, and earn his Code A spot.

Sign me up! I love the way Nani plays. He plays with all his heart, all his being. I can understand why, at that point, he was done. Stay strong nani! Keep your focus bud! <3

I think I'll save my $100 for the yearly subscription. I was on the fence before for a variaty of reasons but this tips the scale for me. I can understand some form of punishment but I can't agree with this decision.
|
Real shame. I think it's silly to make him play the match in the first place. If someone wins the first 2 games of a best of 3, do they force them to play the final game? I don't see this as any different.
|
Naniwa, you are getting famous because if this! :D Good thing imo. Just look how much support IdrA gets.
And i don't understand GOMs decision at all. If you want to "throw away" a game that should be your loss in that tournament. They just have a really bad system with pointless games.
|
Sign me up. Naniwa is a true competitor, although I fear for his future as a progamer at this point.
GOM is fucking pathetic. Funny that they say Naniwa is only in it for the money (not true at all), then they instantly invite Idra and Sen. Two players who are completely undeserving of Code S. Why? To keep foreigner viewership up. Because they don't care one bit about the competitors struggling in Code A, they care about money. Fucking hypocrites.
|
GOM took this personal and got angry like a little kid. They acted to fast and have just done something that is way out of proportion to what Naniwa did.
It looks really uggly and I think its a shameful way that GOMTV has handled this. They talk about respect and honor but GOMTV has missed out on both those parts with their action in this. They have not only disrespected naniwa, but showed great disrespect to the entire esport scen.

Keep training Naniwa and win GSL Feb to show them who's the boss.
