Im so sad. I wonder how much he has been training, and where?
Well he still has Cella, and Acer now. I think he will get back to shape soon, and thank god we will probably start seeing him in foreign tournaments again.
New team so he needs to restart from the bottom! :p Dont worry he is MMA! He is gonna be back let him some times! That Slayers story surely make him thinking about other stuff than pratice correctly.

Yeah cause he totally needed ryu won to win Iron Squid and Kiev
Ryu Won was still part of SlayerS during both those tournaments. A player doesn't need a coach by their side in between each game, but they do need them for coaching during the normal practice period.

You realize MMA won Iron Squid with completely standard builds? Ryu won's effect was clearest in GSL Oct. where build preparation was key against MVP, but how can you give him credit for MMA's wins when his builds were as standard as standard gets? People seriously overblow the contribution Ryu Won made. After the initial build, everything is on the player

Yeah I get pretty annoyed when people attribute all of MMA's success to Ryu Won too. It's like when Oov left SKT for the army and everyone said Fantasy would fall off the map because he was his puppet, Fantasy ended up doing better than ever before when he left before BW ended.

coaches also help with things like training schedule, finding practice partners, psychological states, etc too. not just builds

A lot of players benefit from help from their coaches, yet some people act like Ryu Won and Boxer made MMA, as if other coaches couldn't have helped him become a great player. DRG turned down the SlayerS invite and still became the best zerg for a long while.
It won't surprise me at all if MMA beats Taeja in NASL ro16, even if Taeja is favored. There are times he plays his opponents like a fiddle, but then there are those scrappy or risky games. The potential is obviously still there, and I don't think he needs to practice like mad to raise his skill level, but to put the drama behind and get it out of his head.
