However, Thorzain is known for good manners (telling his opponent well played, when he loses a game), whereas Naniwa used to be known rather for bad manners, or as Sylverin puts it, "being a dick". Thus, Sylverin appeals to Thorzain to, through beating Naniwa, establish himself as "the true Swede", the exemplar of a Swedish Starcraft 2 player. @bold: I read that as "Slytherian" (Harry Potter) the first time. :o YAY! Fan club hit 1000 posts already. Congrats to ThorZain for having spammy fans. =)

I still hope Thorzain plays at least one game with thors so that we can see how this patch affects his build. ![]() He would be crazy to do that build again. He's already shown it twice in the TSL, I am sure Naniwa will be prepared for it and will just hard-counter it if he scouts it. Given that the thor build is very specific it's easy to scout so unless the composition is unbeatable, which I bet it isn't, it'd be throwing a game away going for it, when his opponent is aware of it.

Tyler said the Thor build has no hard counter, so I don't think it makes a difference. Regardless, the build he used to defeat the best Protoss in the world will be taken away from him in the battle against another champion Protoss. You know what this means? Underdog again.

Underdog again. remember thors can now be feedback'd. the only response is using emp on them, but that means no EMP for the protoss army. Edit: sign me up for the fanclub! i loved his style of planning ahead for a match. knowing that you have spent a whole week analysing a player gives him the confidence he needs. I'm looking forward to NaNiwa vs ThorZain so much, just because both of them have shown good strategy not only between games in a BoX, but before the match and even in different tournaments (see the chronicles of naniwa).
