Thorzain gonna roflstomp his ass next time they play. Promise. Oh you... Believe it or not, players sometimes lose to players they shouldn't lose to, it's part of the game. anyone but incontrol you mean

Total Nani 7 probe rush situation. I have to say - I find this insulting both to Thorzain and Incontrol. IF you were a real Thorzain fan, you would know very well he wouldn't throw a game like this. Sure, maybe after such 2 painfull losses he didn't play at 100%, but even mentioning Thorzain's name with the "Naniwa case"... Also, I think if there is one tournament, where there are no "pointless" matches - that tournament is HSC. Is winning a meaningless game really something to brag about all over twitter though? That's what I was referring to...
LOL what did he post on twitter? Incontrol is just such a bad player I guess he needs to promot any win he gets.

Sure, ThorZaIN should have won that match, but he didn't. His fanclub is not a place where we make excuses or flame other players. iNcontrol won when he was considered an underdog, I'm glad for his sake!

I think incontrol wanted that win alot more then thorzain who probably did not care to much. Beating incontrol is nothing big at all, but incontrol who lose all games in every tourney, he desperatly just need any win he can get to have anything.
So he probably went in that game with the mindset like it was a final while thorzain just saw it as a ladder game.

yeah Inc won, evryone has bad tournaments, no big deal. I dident see the controlled and calm Thorzain in the games he played unfortunately, so i thought it would be possible for him to lose to someone as hungry for a win as Incontrol. Since Incontrol really badly needs any win he can get:S. Hoping to see my spoon-boy play his good old self again soon, he is so beastly when he is on top of his game.
not sure if I will watch rest of tournament now that T-zain is down, might only watch the finals

The ways he lost against both Socke and Nerchio looked to be outright devastating. I won't blame any players for going on tilt for the rest of his tournaments after they took a hit like that.
I absolutely believe that ThorZaIN will take the losses to heart and the next time these players meet, he'll have the right answers for their plays.
With that said, I've been a fan of ThorZaIN for a long time now. Please add me!

Guys, don't forget Thorzain beat Protosses like Huk and Hero several times in the past, in his normal shape he should've had no problems with Incontrol, no offence to him. It was clearly just a bad day, I hope we can at least hear more of his casts in this tournament.

Not to mention his Protoss rival from the same country.

Sick player intro, topped off by the pouring of a waterfall on the map. Simply beautiful <3

Even though he didn't live up to our expectations, I still got to sign up 7 fans after HSC. Very nice.
So ThorZaIN just got invited to the Shoutcraft Invitational #4, casted by TotalBiscuit and dApollo! Thread Liquidpedia

Thorzain will take SCI4 with a vengeance!
Fighting!

What happened to ThorZain at HSCIV? Has he given any explanation as to why he performed below his usual standard?

As far as I know, I don't think he really gave any explanation. It could be anything though for all we know. I think he just had a bad day is all.

I don't know if he needs to. He's proven himself to be good, and it's still very hard for people to be consistently on top in SC2, with how new and relatively undeveloped the competitive scene is. He's a great player, we all know it, and I don't know if he needs to make excuses. This is still a game where a mediocre player on his best day can often pull games off one of the top players on an off day. Sometimes this happens a few times at once.
Hope to see him do well in the future.
