I think this shows tremendous character on his part knowing that he can compete at the very highest levels of the game but holding himself to such a high standard that he gets this sad/raged when he doesnt. To that I say DONT MIND! Tyler your influence and your place in the Starcraft community is so much larger than just your current results. You reach a huge fanbase through SOTG, and you're almost everyone's favorite host in that show, you're stream is one of the best protoss streams out there, people would clamour to you if you ever decided to coach and you have analytical commentary on par if not better than IdrA's when you do commentate! When you're playing your worst sure you may not win as many games as you want to but you have all that other stuff that the community loves your for, so don't quit!

Tyler is my favourite player bar none. Maybe he's not winning tourneys.... but I think this is more of a psychological thing than an ability thing. When Tyler talks about the game, people can't help but listen and learn because his understanding is through the roof, and his ability to say it in clear terms is a real asset. Too early to tell if he was just venting, and I wouldn't blame if he was.... heck sometimes I get crazy when I lose a measly ladder game (shame on me!). I can't even imagine the pressure of going on a public downward slump. I personally see it as a temporary slump, and a real chance for him to shake his style up and bring some new methods forward. I'm not sure how Team Liquid works, but I'd love to see a team effort to put all of their heads together to get all of their players on the up and up. Things have been pretty inconsistent lately, but their team is loaded with ballers. Not that this means anything, but I hope Tyler doesn't quit. He's a real asset to the SC community. If he does decide to step back because real life has more going on now, or because he's having problems staying mentally strong... then power to him, but it would certainly be a huge blow to Team Liquid, SC2, and esports. (Plus Tyler... if you just don't give a s#@%, about what game you play... play SC2 ![]()

Tyler, you inspire me to keep playing SC and to do my best and get better. You have done and continue to do amazing things for E-Sports and StarCraft 2 as a whole. I would ask that you keep up the good work, even if you should venture from SC in the future your influence and actions will not go un appreciated. And as a word of encouragement to you, you have talent I wish I had, and your raw talent is so obvious to me when you play. The refinement and technicality of your builds and strategy is amazing. Don't be discouraged because refined builds aren't sweeping people for you, the game is unstable and no one is keen to how it works quite yet, I know you'll do better in the future and even if you don't what you do on SotG is amazing. You rock, don't forget it.

although I urge him to quit if he really really wants to and it would make him happy I doubt its going to happen.. even if he leaves for a week he will miss it and come back maybe a change to Liquid Nony would give him a fresh start and a psychological boost ?

He should. Come back as Liquid Nony and some solid builds. I like the two gate pressure into expasion he did in the NASL and I want to see more of it. Being the only protoss in TL might be hurting him as well. He needs to get a protoss think tank going and work on Project - The Return of Nony - Graken Killing Probe Master.
