Personally I don't want to see MVP vs MKP again. This is because I'm a huge MVP fanboy and I think MKP would just totally beat him now. MKP has gotten so good.

The terran I'm the most scaried of for MarineKing is Byun, however he is in the open bracket so he'll have a very hard path and he'll most likely be tired.
MMA isn't as scary as Byun (he has looked shaky against PuMa @Iron Squid and dunno if his games against aLive are representative) and his TvP just isn't that good so he'll struggle if good protoss are in his path.

Nestea won using an unscouted baneling/roach all in... I am pretty sure MarineKing would play it safer in a tournament.

Yeah. MKP held on for quite a long time since Nestea was only on two-bases and he had three orbitals (until one burned down). Eventually Nestea was able to just mass up enough to overwhelm him. Hopefully if either of them play, it's in a series that's more than a bo3 so no one wins due to volatility (or as much that is).

He's in a sick sick group, but seeing the form he's in, he could very well take it home. All his team mates will be there as well. If he wins this, it could be really nice with everyone there to celebrate with. To be honest, he has the easiest group so far. Stephano and WhiteRa are nowhere near the level of MC, Nestea, MMA and so on. I wouldn't expect him to win the whole thing. That would be too nice to be true. But he wil make a good run and show great games, and that's I'm looking forward to. Who do you see win then? MMA is a strong contender but he is not invincible in TvT. PartinG is very strong and Byun / Curious as well but those who will be in the open tourney will have such a hard time they are not likely to win. I'm not too scared for him in TvZ/TvP except the top top players, I don't really know in TvT but he is already in groupstages so he has a shot. I'd say 50% chance of him winning the tourney =) Heheh, 50% is a bit pushing it I'd say However I do think Foxer is the favorite to win this tournament, I'd maybe put him at 5.00 to win, with MMA second at 6.00 or something of the sort... Foxer has the best tvp in the world by far at the moment, so I don't see him losing to a toss, as he convincingly defeated probably the best PvT players (Parting and MC) at MLG. TvZ he's also really strong atm, it's between him and MMA for who has the best TvZ, meaning that it's unlikely that he will lose to a Z, with DRG also not beeing there, the biggest z threats are leenock, nestea and stephano. All 3 of which Foxer is favored against I'd say. What it comes down to for me is 2 things: 1) His TvT, as all the strongest terrans in the world (MMA, MVP, Jjakji, Bomber, Puma, Polt, Taeja, Maru, Byun etc.) are here and he'll probably meet them in the groups or in the later stages. I hope he's practiced a lot of TvT, as I feel this will be the key to winning the most important matches. 2) His general condition with regard to the fact that he also has to play and prepare for GSTL. I'm not sure about the schedule but I hope GSTL is on Saturday before all the IPL games, so that he could only have to play his first 2 games in groups (vs stephano and white ra) before having to play in GSTL. Once GSTL is finished he could hopefully gather his thoughts and prepare the best builds + prepare mentally for the rest of the games. I just hope his attention is not spread too thinly between both competitions and that hurts him. In any case, I'll be cheering hardcore for Foxer as usual. Gogogogo GSTL is @ sunday

That was an unnecessarily close game (game 3 vs white ra)... Foxer should have just gone for a 1 rax expand and crushed whitera with standard play. He even managed to win when he was very far behind now, no need to make life tougher for himself.
Not a good start for Foxer at all... -_- I hope he gets his shit together for the tougher games.

MKP didn't even micro hard. If he had done that it would've been a total massacre 2-0.

feels like MKP isn't performing as usual compared to the MLG's at IPL today .
