I'm actually not as disappointed as I usually am when MKP loses... I mean, against Ryung, it was more of a BO loss than anything else. I don't see anyone winning after having to defend a proxy rax bunker contain off a 14CC. His CC was delayed by sooo long, he was just way behind after that. Puzzle was ok, I guess, nice defense. bomber just outplayed him, but we kinda expected that to happen. The poor banshee defense didn't help either, for the rest he didn't really play badly. The main reason I'm not as disappointed is because we'll still see plenty of MKP the coming weeks, I think. This frees up time for MLG and ESWC (Making it past Ro16 would've endangered those tournaments) and we'll still see him in AoL and GSTL as well, so... Still kinda happy, LOL

He reallllllllllllllllllllllllllly needs to work on his TvT
Seeing that Code S is full of terran he should have solo training for TvT,
even thou mech is boring and all he really needs to adapt to that style cos its soooo strong vs bio and we saw that at the game VS bomber, you cant do anything vs 20 siege tanks even if you catch them unsieged youll maybe get 5 or 7 before siegeing up and after that bye bye bio ball.

at least he didn't fell to the UP&DOWNs

He tried to use mech in code A but he is not very good at it (I think that it's hard to practice fully a style you truly hate so :s) but don't worry with the new patch mech should not be THAT strong (aka imba in tvt) and it will probably be marine tank battles where MKP is very good at.
Mid game mech should be nearly the same (since you have mech upgrades I guess hellions are the same as before so hellion drop are deadly) but it's a huge early nerf, you won't be able to get away with hellions openings as easily as before so in order to survive to marine / tank pushes you will have to play defensive and the bio player will be able to expand more easily (because when you'll have +1 blue flame he can have turrets and sensor tower and deal with drops more easily)
edit: I hope that he will be able to go to ESWC :D

I still think Marineking's MarineTank TvT is very solid, and that if he ever manages to find a way to destroy mech, he will be amazing. His winrate isn't that bad tbh, better than every Code S Zerg's ZvT with exception of DRG, Nestea and July.

Marineking just won with Bomber in GSTL in Ace Match ( Prime 5-2 ST ).

In the interview Marineking mentioned foreign fans, and he is very thankful for opportunity to play at MLG. ( Reddit raised 4000$ for him )

I told you, 1.4 patch? MarineKing back as TvT monster (remember when he crushed through everyone except Mvp? yeah he won like 5 protoss in the gisado thingy, all-killed oGs when MC was a GSL champion, and crushed Bomber, GanZi and Byun in TvT lol).
This patch is MarineKing patch and terrans will start to shit their pants again if they have to play him, cuz now going mech against bio isn't almost autowin anymore.

Yes. 1.4 will raise his TvT record enormly again. He showed it today and we'll see more marine/tank and marine/marauder rather than mech in TvT! This might be his chance. Let's see how it's affecting the other matchups. I think this may be his time again. GO MKP FIGHTING!
