MC 12-2 in games at Dreamhack atm I believe and now 8-2 versus IdrA. Excited to see MC v Bomber tomorrow, I think Bomber is a bit overrated and he did lose more games to foreigners than MC. Easily the tournament finals right there, I think the winner of that will take the tournament. Time for another LAN victory for MC. :D

Then you're posting in the wrong thread, my friend. As it stands, MC is the pinnacle of Protoss play, if not Starcraft 2, and if you fall asleep watching him then you may be a fan of the wrong game.

SC2 is lucky to have a player like MC. He may well be the Boxer of this game. Not only he's an excellent player, with intelligent refined builds and flawless micro, but he also has a great understanding of showmanship. He really wants to engage the foreign viewers and he's ready to do a lot of stuff to appeal to a bigger audience: casting, manner antics, fooling around playing floorball. Bomber may beat him tomorrow (don't think so), but he truly is the first SC2 star.

Sentiments like this genuinely makes me want to ask. "why?" I've almost always been entertained by MC's games because all his short games have always been determined by insane micro that's just a sight to behold and almost all his long games have been against someone whose skill matches MC's, making for an insane battle (see: MC v ThorZain g2 in the TSL3. I will never forget that game). I get it for some other toss players like Cruncher, who's infamous for turtling until 3 bases and attacking, but MC probably has the most diverse repetoire of strategies from a protoss perspective and the skill to pull them off.
