What's the deal with like ... VODS and stuff? Or non-spoiler recaps? I'd like to find out MC won in a somewhat dramatic way if I can't actually watch the games. (By non-spoiler recaps, I mean recaps where no winners are mentioned besides at the end of each individual game) EDIT: Nevermind! Found them. =) | ||

I agree with the argument that to be a bonjwa you need to dominate for a very long period of time, so MC has a long way to go to get that title. But I do not agree with your argument. BW is a completely different game than sc2. Yes they are similar, but BW players aren't playing against sc2 players. What about the dominate players in WC3? that still takes an immense amount of skill, so those players could still be better than sc2. The point is you wont know that until Flash plays sc2 against MC. Who is to say if MC continued to play BW that he wouldn't be amazing now? you'll never know. The bonjwa title is specific to the game, not RTS games in general. | ||

I never even followed the BW scene and I think that argument would convince me. bonjwa is merely a term for a player that has been dominant for a long time. but where not talking about a period of mere months but more then a year (i think) in which a player has to win pretty much every tournament there is. so for now MC will just have to keep on winning as much as possible  | ||

It's kind of funny to me that some people tuned in to a finals featuring MC not just hoping for but EXPECTING a "good" series. No series featuring MC is ever "good" by the normal metrics, really. The best you can hope for is that he does a funny ceremony after he one-sidedly annihilates whoever he's up against. | ||
