I think high level Korean ladder reps occasionally show up on replay sites(I believe there were a few Chinese sites that had them) but the thing is on the top end of the Korean ladder a lot of people are GSL hopefuls and they don't really want replays of themselves around, even if it's a cool game against MC.

Yeah, most pros are pretty careful about releasing replays, because other players can analyze them so heavily.

that makes sense but i still think that every now and then, on a bit of an off day, MC might be pitted against a very good amateur who posts the replay.. but then again the skill gap is to big for it to be very useful to mortals like us anyway

MC is just so frikin' Baller, beating a player like JulyZerg without even bulding a robo is just awesome. Its great to see such gateway heavy play when many ppl have been saying colossus are imbalanced.

His defense against that first drop in game 3 was insane. I really thought he had it succesfully defended until the reinforcements came in.

So he's the first player to win two GSL finals. People are saying "Yeah but MVP and NesTea were eliminated!" as if that somehow dimishes MC's accomplishment.

NesTea and MVP were upset. MC wasn't.

He needs to dominate convincingly for at LEAST this year. "Bonjwa" is some serious shit. Most bonjwas changed the face of their race's matchups forever, if not the entire game. You have to have and MAINTAIN an aura of invincibility while you're doing it, too.

MC being called bonjwa would put him up with names like Boxer and Iloveoov. Right now, if there's anyone in SC2 who can do that, it's MC. But he has a long, and incredibly hard road ahead of him. RTS and Starcraft in general have become incredibly difficult. Skill levels are very close. Hell, Flash is the best RTS player of all time and is the only person in BW history to pose a serious threat to Nada's records, and it's STILL hard for people to call him bonjwa because players such as Jaedong don't seem so far off from him. That's how much this title means.

No. Winning four tournaments, three of which are in the space of two months, is not bonjwa worthy. If he dominates the SC2 scene for a year, then maybe. If he's won 6+ GSLs by next year AND dominated in every other tournament around the world, then maybe. Otherwise no. Of course, he's going to do exactly that because he's goddamn MC, but let's not get to ahead of ourselves and start calling him the greatest player who will ever walk this earth for another few months.
