G2 - scouting 2 reactored rax pressure and does 1 gate expo. G3 - same damn thing which is worse. And even build a third instead of powering and all in.  Still my favorite player but "over confidence" maybe needs to be turned down a notch against one of the best terrans in the world. Has little to do with practice but thinking he can hold anything with micro. | ||

Has little to do with practice but thinking he can hold anything with micro. yeah game 1, MC clearlly outplays bomber. game 2, MC scout, then go early expo Oo? against bomber Oo? big blunder! game 3, MC started outplaying bomber again, but after a very bad move, engaging before storm with a heavy zealot comp and 0 armor upgrades, bomber took the lead and did a nice job containing MC, and just keeping ahead till win. anyway, bomber did not really impress me in this DH, he played nice but I still think MC have a better chance than him in GSL. I really don't like when players try to get ahead with ninja expansions (with bomber did a lot in this DH). Hope to see good games between MC and Bomber in GSL code S groups. | ||

MC has been playing to much ninja expos too.. How long has it been since he's one based 4/5/6 gated? I read something once that he wanted to prove he knows how to play macro games but he seems to have taken it to far where that's all he does save PvP. Maybe gotten to predictable and not scary like before. | ||

Ninja expo means that you take a hidden expo and it doesn't get scouted. but yeah he hasn't been doing a ton of his scary timing pushes, I agree. But they are bo3s after all and I think he just wants to win through being the superior player instead of taking any risk. He did roflstomp Cloud easily with a 3 gate sentry expand, then just killed him with a couple zealots, stalkers, and like 9 sentries but I don't know if that's a good risk against other people like Bomber. People just play greedy as hell against MC nowadays to get the edge, like Naugrim and IdrA hiding expos against him. It's sad to see when he loses to his opponents taking massive risks when he plays defensive. Bo3 is such a sad format, wish most tournaments could adopt a bo5 or bo7 especially in the later stages. I mean, a bo3 between Bomber and MC when there was like 1.5 hours for it? blah | ||

(note - "you people" in this post refers to people like Sabu, not MC fans.) - - - - The only thing I'm pissed about is that they only played a Bo3. Bomber and MC are my two favourite players and I've never seen them play a long series. Pretty sure the longest series they've played was a Bo5 way back when, which MC took 3-2. And seeing as it's impossible for them to meet up in the finals of Code S this season, I don't know when we'll be able to see a Bo7 between them. =( | ||

 Either way, hopefully he does practice like a mad man. When MC is in top form he seems unstoppable and is almost solely the reason for PROTOSS IMBA cries across the world. When they meet again I hope that he beats Bomber convincingly, looking forward to the group stages but hope he isn't stretched thin by Homestory Cup and NASL. On the bright side, that means plenty of MC for us to watch :D | ||

The top two from each group can't play each other until the finals, at least if they're still going by the format I just checked (that of GSL May) Well, that's good news. ^^ | ||

Also, I don't know what's the deal with it but I wish MC started going for upgrades faster, having even upgrades is sooo important in PvT, but he often seems to fall behind on that. Even with these 2 points in mind, Bomber basically got super lucky to take that game - his hidden third was 3 seconds from finishing when MC's Stalker saw it and Bomber got to cancel it, then when MC pressured Bomber, he managed to float his Expo out of range when it was what, 1-2 volleys from death? Anyway, super excited with MC's play ever since the lackluster PvP's of GSTL, some absolutely amazing performances in Starswar, MLG, and now DH - he's definitely in great shape, hope the constant travelling doesn't harm it too much! | ||

And in game 3 of DH, Bomber had 150% of MC's army value, but MC managed to stay in the game for longer because of his micro and AoE protoss capabilities.
