Just the period of slacking during mid/early spring, followed by traveling too much to practice, that fucked me. I adjusted badly to ranking games stopping, after the 'omg im in GSL'-motivation wore off. Like, first 2 GSLs all I did was practice, and before that we always had ranking games and those were 1) forcing me to play 2) making me want to play a ton so I could start winning against the oGs guys (and I did eventually). Then I kinda burned out around... march or april I duno, and it lasted a while. After that Documentary from Wellplayed "Starcraft year one" I view Jinro differently. Maybe next time I see him I will stop him to say hi. Sign me up.

The fact that you played a lot better than you thought you would means that hopefully next qualifiers, you'll be even more prepared. And we'll be all here to cheer you on

Well... at Raleigh, Jinro ran into TriMaster, who went on a great run. Tyler had a much easier path, being ranked higher than Jinro. But then again, Tyler ran into HerO. I feel that both Jinro and Tyler will start performing better at MLG soon!
