thats how im starting to feel as well. its not true, but being his fan is starting to feel like fruitdealer 2.0. Idra is starting to fade away.

Nerchio is really good. but there used to be a time when Idra was the NA Nestea, he never lost a ZvZ ever, statistically, it was his best matchup by far.but since the NASL, he's lost that edge. he was like 8-0 against Sheth until yesterday, now Sheth has 2-0'd him twice in the last two days. and Nerchio has as well. that's why people are mad when Idra lost to him.
i do have to agree though, he is officially slumping. im still gonna be rooting for him tomorrow though where he instead of playing a TvZ, he now has to win 2 ZvP vs TT1 and(more than most likely) HuK. both of which are more than capable of beating him. his odds went from super good to really really bad.

I really hope he WINS MLG Raleigh I love idra as much as anyone, but it's not gonna happen - not for a while. The EG house will take a while to kick in and until then I don't think anyone can even compete with the Koreans outside of Korea.

Does anyone else just not want to watch IdrA's games tomorow and just see the results because you're so scared for him.
|
idra lost due to lazy overlord placement, nothing more, nothing less. as far as i could tell sheth did a completely random roach anti-timing where 99% of people would be making infestors.
i wouldnt put much weight in losing a game because he forgot to move overlords outside sheths third

I find this thread very entretaining keep it up!!!

entertaining? the fanclub is a joke to you? get lost.

IdrA has the capability to be the one of the best zergs in the world, atm he is the best foreigner and if not then the best foreign zerg, he had a little bit of a slip vs sheth, but hey, dont over look that he was the highest placing foreign zerg at mlg, and the best foreigner period at the mlg colombus, so lets look over these little missteps and look forward to the next mlg where he will pwn with his new practice regimen! Even though he is one of the best he still has the slight... mental problem? But skill wise, he is one of the best, idra fighting!
|
I think idra should skip a few tournaments so he can have more time to practice. With all the travelling he has to do (I think after this he goes to IEM and after that its Raleigh if I'm not mistaken), he does not get enough time to practice.

I wish he was, but I dont think he is :/ He is no longer the best foreigner... probably top 5 foreigners though. Also, I think atm Sen is the best foreign Zerg. Also, Idra will be travelling most of the time this month, so we wont see a dominating Idra before at least October I think... I will still keep hoping though :D

he honestly lost to just overall worse play to sheth. bad decision to counterattack in game one and MASSIVE overdroning in game 2 and sheth hit a perfect timing. 30 seconds later and idra woulda had infestors and won game 2, but that not how the game played out.
i consider myself to be in the "Whole League" of Idra fandom. but, Idra's lifestyle choices are whats hurting his play. his lack of practice, not caring for the game(he just doesnt like to play stacraft 2, he only does it for the money and competitive nature) and other things are coming back to pay dividends. he will get back from this. but probably not until Blizzcon(if he makes it there) its just gonna be rough till then. chin up though!, who doesnt like rooting for SeleCT as well!

Tourneys are some of the better practice a NA player can get unfortunately.

Such as?
He lost to Sheth, must be shit still.
Is that what you are implying?

Man I really hope for this slump to be over from idra, he used to be the favorite going into every tournament, I just don't really know what has been going wrong for him lately.
|
I was expecting Nerchio to put up a good fight, but 0:3... Come on, IdrA, you SHOULD be beating players like Sheth and Nerchio, Now the inevitable game vs HuK...
