Every player has a second chance - that's basically what double elimination is all about. In practice, tournaments rarely follow that since it's hard to schedule (double elim bo5 could be as little as 3 games or as many as 10 - imagine a TvT with Goody lol) or to understand. (well this guy won the bo5, but it didn't mean anything, they have to play again) Tournaments instead often give a smaller advantage to the winners bracket player - a one or two game lead depending. | ||

That's not MLG style. Normal double elimination is having to win 2 sets from losers. MLG style is extended series. Starting up with a 1 game head start is like a different version of extended series. | ||

i saw the minigun game last night... and felt asleep after that .. today i wake up and all i read is he lost to sen etc? What has happend.. was that another tourney or IPL? any clear inmformations would be really nice.. i am k9inda shocked and worried what has happend tonight thx in ADVANCE | ||
