Idra lost due to poor mentality, in these 6 matches against MC he outplayed him in 3 of which he won 2 and lost 1 because he didnt know how to close up the last game. Quite dumb from his side to cheese first 2 games today specially since MC went for stargate...
TBH kinda same way he lost to MMA, he played better but didnt know how to finish and/or his nervs got the better of him.
Also people please stop the balance whine, in top16 there are 9 zergs compared to 2 protosses, of which both are considered to be best( one foreigner and one Korean )
Sad to see top3 all Korean but not like something else was expected.

He didn't even have to blink, he made one giant box and blinked in closer to the hydras.
Idra had a better concave, the defined HARD COUNTER, I'm relatively sure he was equal if not ahead on upgrades, he had a much higher income for so long throughout the game, better production. And he still lost.
I'm not usually someone to cry, but that is literally ridiculous.

The Taldarim cannon block seems pretty broken though, if you can reliably win games doing that three pylon block with cannons when the zerg pulls six drones to deal with it, then something is wrong.

well it's obvious that at the end he was far from his A game or B game even. lol but fun fact he scores top non-korean at mlg =) so overall he did great.

O.K. that kinda sucked but MC is an awesome player no doubt and IdrA just cracked under the pressure; no different from NaniWa really.
MC just has a better understanding of the match-ups than his foreigner opponents. We've seen from his 3 hidden Zealot build, VoidRay roach/ling defence, DT builds etc... that he knows a lot of stuff that foreigners don't know right now and you can't improvise against it in a high pressure situation.

The general idea is to remax on Ling / hydras when all colossi are dead.
They are the main reason you need roaches, to tank the damage.
