I have a funny story for you guys that happened at MLG. So EG is sitting on floor watching the last matches before Idra's finals and one of his fans walks by with a box of pizza and when he sees Idra he asks him if he would like a slice before he plays his match. Idra said no LOL and LzGaMeR says "You could have made that kids day by accepting it. Now he's gonna be all sad. What's wrong with you?"

It may not seem funny reading it but we had our laugh.

I don't really like the idea of Idra commentating a day before his ro64 match, it might mess up his concentration a bit. Hopefully I'm wrong.

So he would suddenly feel like to be a commentator rather than progamer? :p

I doubt it will affect anyway. Should be easy win for Idra.

Everyone goes on about e-sports and the future of competitive StarCraft - well, proper sportsman usually don't even give interviews right before match day, let alone going on TV to commentate. Of course, StarCraft is very far away from mainstream sports but it's still not a good idea. Going in front of an audience is a stressful experience and, even if he enjoys doing it, he should be training, relaxing and thinking about his game plan for the day after.

So awesome to get Idra as the analysing commentator on GSL, great to get some first hand grack knowledge.

As a insight 'commentator' or how can you say it, he's very good.

IdrA is a great commentator. A lot of commentators are very excited, but don't really know what they're talking about. IdrA's the complete opposite of that.

Yea Idra is not faking excitement, he is doing what a good caster have to do, solid technical comments. He is not talking a lot but he says stuff really important to understand what is going on.

Idra did a really good job IMO. ^__^ He couldn't pull off being a solo caster, that would be pretty boring, but as the analyst with insight he's great. Would love to see him co-cast with Artosis.
