Without mutas he'd have lost his ability to harrass, and while he may have been able to crush the next push, the one after that would've been a struggle. I think he should've played it out as well, but I understand his reasoning.

This series, idra vs select was really hot !!! I loved it, especially the last game !

I thought the series was pretty average. Select seemed to be playing pretty badly, maybe it was just Idra playing too well or something.

select wasn't playing badly, it's just that idra is good at muta harass that's the point of it your opponent needs to constantly be thinking about it, not to mention that it kills scv's like crazy sometimes. but the second game it was obvious what happened i mean u never see idra roll his mutas in with the ling\bling and losing everything and the only mutas left he lost them for some marines with medis. losing the mutas that early is not part of his game plan he needs them to keep his opponent back and afraid to go out of his base.
and that broodlord timing, they were out much earlyer then those observers noticed, very bad observing those games, u either had APM tab during a macro stage of the game with upgrades rolling out and u didnt know stim hadnt been done till so much late, or that a greater spire had been morphed cause they never checked the fucking production tab, or u had no tab at all which is sad..

I think it was a combination of SeleCT not playing his best and Idra playing well. SeleCT was floating in a huge amount of minerals for most of the games if I remember correctly. From what I've seen of him, he usually doesn't do that. Either way, Idra definitely deserved the win. He played extremely well

I wana join this epic fanclub!

You can sign me up for this. I used to get nerd chills everytime Idra played a Korean in the GSL. Though I wish he still played in the GSL, it is awesome to watch him stream on the US server and play in the foreign tournaments.
Good luck tonight against Mana!

Also, during a SOTG when Tyler and Incontrol Roasted Idra about not switching from zerg if he thought it was completly broken he mentioned that he would not do that since the nerfs/buffs are comming and that it would take to long to get his terran up to a playable level near that of his zerg.

Pushing the limits of multitasking. Booyah!

IdrA is my favorite player but I really wish he wouldn't gg out of games so early. It's always possibile that your opponent might make a mistake and you can force your way back into a game... It seems like he still had a really good chance in at least the first game he gg'd out of vs. SeleCT.

No you don't. It was people saying the same thing over, and over again."OMG Why?" And I fixed your quote.

Yeah sure, but if I told you that it's physically possible to run through a wall like it was air, would you still run into it ? I mean, you don't need psychic powers, you can simply do it out of sheer luck (ok 1x10^(-150)% but STILL, possible to do so).
I'm sure you'd GG against the wall sooner than IdrA in his games. It's not because "there's a chance he can win" that he should exhaust himself trying to. If he deem he's too far behind in a game, it's his own choice to leave or not.

That game was far from over. Maybe Idra thought Select had an extra expansion or had more units at the contain. But he didn't, Select was about to break, and that would have put IdrA really far ahead.
It was like what Gretorp said: "It's like he left because he wasn't completely dominating..."
I'm not as good as IdrA, so maybe he's right and I'm just wrong, but my jaw dropped when he gged.
