Besides, when someone makes a post with 0 content except spoiler tags, who knows if there is a funny picture in it or future tournament results? Man up and stop discussing spoiled results of a tournament that hasn't even happened yet. This is a fan club thread, how could you think that sort of discussion is supposed to be here? The thread got deleted so lets transfer it into a fan club thread? Cool?

To be fair, you don't really expect people to be spoiling matches before they have been played. So when people only post a spoiler tag you kinda want to open it, and if the person posting haven't used the spoiler tag properly you can get results spoiled. But for me it isn't that great of a deal, but I totally understand some people that get really upset over a spoiled result. People need to learn how to use the spoiler tag to its fullest.

I know exactly what happened without clicking them and the whining is here for a reason - motbob guessed this would happen (referring to that idiotic post which spoils with only part-spoilers...(and other posts too which kinda give it away)). Either you learn to spoiler (not going to happen, newbies always happen) or just stop it completely.

So now I'm not allowed to spoiler speculation because you might infer information from it? This is completely relevant to his fanclub. They are results. Results for him. This is a fanclub about him. @Ewli. People were talking about his IGNPL results prior to the spoiler tags and then proceeding to say "regarding the IGNPL <spoiler>" Don't act like you never noticed the spoilers could of been about anything, they were in the context of the IGNPL.

I'm not sure what you read, but the posts I read was written in some fashion like this "I'm not sure if this is a spoiler however: spoiler tag" Or just simply a spoiler tag

I don't see what the problem is, as long as it is in some form of spoiler. Obviously, it's nicer if people did it like this: + Show Spoiler [IPL Spoiler] + Idra wins/loses to X

When you enter a thread and see someone write : "I'm not sure if this is a spoiler but : <spoiler tag>" without reading the entire thread. You don't expect the spoiler to be about something that technically haven't happened yet. You can't know that someone has leaked info about an upcoming tournament.

True, and that would perhaps hold more weight with a post that consists of just a spoiler, but if someone is very concerned about not being spoiled, they can still ask what the spoiler is about or simply not click on them. Generally, if someone posts something like "I'm not sure if this is a spoiler or not, but" it's either about something extremely current or "future" matches that haven't been broadcast yet. Although, in my opinion, people browsing match history to get that kind of information should either create their own spoilered thread (which would probably be closed, implying that those kinds of things shouldn't be posted anyway) or just keep it to themselves. On a more thread-related note, I'm so glad idra streams so (relatively) often, his play is beautiful to watch and has really helped my zerg play.

This is true, but it's really unfortunate that the results were leaked, as I've said you can't know that, so you should be upset about spoilers in this thread, even if it's the fan club. I understand that you can't be reading this thread and opening every spoiler if you haven't watched the tournaments that have been broad-casted and expect to not be spoiled of those. But you can't stop reading the fan club on the off-chance that someone has leaked results of a tournament and they don't know how to use the spoiler tag function properly. And we should probably drop this discussion since it's not really a fan-club related topic. I've said pretty much what I've wanted to say, it's a shame that people got spoiled and that people doesn't know how to use the spoiler tag. Regarding the IdrA stream: I am really pleased with the improvements made when he got the laptop. I just love watching the stream and seeing the master play. He's so good at the game, and the trolls on the ladder trying to tilt him are so funny :D

+ Show Spoiler + So, if you dont know already Idra won IGN (IPL) Pretty convicingly i might add, and i was thinking isnt it time he is dubbed the best NA player? Due to fact IGN (IPL) was just the best NA players? On his way to the title he beat Fenix 2-0 Drewbie 2-0 Kiwikaki 3-0 Select 3-2 then in Winners final without losing game he then beat Kiwikaki again 3-2 in final to take home the prize! I mean thats some class there beating Kiwi a top protos player twice!!! and having a total record of 13-4 which is pretty good! Cant wait to see Idra own NASL and the rest of these tournaments up! Proves to all those haters Idra CAN and WILL win any tournaments thrown at him! THE DOMINANCE HAS ARRIVED!!! P.S Total Biscuit on IGN man i love him ![]()

Does it not bother you guys that you've had the excitement of a grand Idra victory completely ruined for you? It seems like people are treating Idra's success as a simple "W, let's move on", rather than going on the rollercoaster ride that is a tournament victory. And Idra's had a rough trot recently... this would have been a pretty momentous occasion for Idra fans.
