I meant, first you see the mutas you go templars and turtle a while, then scout ultras and do immortals and since you already have templars u will easily get archons which are so good vs ultras.

Mutas should be able to deny scouting at least to a little extent, and it's not like he make an immortal death army off of 3 bases without being completely all in on a single attack that you will catch the second it moves out, and then most likely kill with a ling/bane remax or something like that. In WoL it might've worked that way, but ultras are actually surprisingly good at everything. The more the protoss wait, the more tech the zerg can get. If the protoss waits long enough, obviously you would have time to get out perhaps a couple Vipers as well, in which case the immortals are gonna fall quickly against lings.
and you just completely ignored what I said about Swarm hosts. With proper support they are surprisingly good

Swarmhosts are sick good in zvp. I am beating all kinds of top protoss players and I am beating toss players that idra is losing to more then they beat me.
I feel roach/hydra is garbage now that protoss players are remembering how to play verse it again and I just feel zergs will realize this and transition out of it. I don't know if toss players just don't know how to counter swarmhosts cause nobody does them almost or what, but he would have a lot more success with swarmhosts/corruptor/hydra/viper then roach/hydra/corruptor.
Finally he is using swarmhosts today

Lings dont really do much since there are storm/archons available. And ofc i didnt mean full immortal, but if toss mixes in immortals, ultras wont be very effective. And vipers are countered by feedback, and they also cost a lot of supply, what makes your army much smaller. Im not sure if im 100% right, but that is what it looked like when idra played with lings+ultra.
And sorry about the swarmhosts, i ignored them, cos i haven´t seen them a lot.

Yepp that's about it, when every terran was getting destroyed by the heavy ultra style, and Idra commented back to just play defensive instead; get raxes to block and transition to the lategame whit ghost support in a fashion gumiho exactly demonstrated.
