For some positivity, I recently saw an Idra interview where he said something to the effect that he no longer thinks he has all the answers, and he's willing to learn from other people. I think this is a very promising statement!

yeah we are aware.. you can tell by his recent performance, he has been slowly getting better

what strong showings has she ahd aside from WC? its certainly an achievment to win it but all the big names like IdrA and HuK were playing in MLG or NASL at the same time

Well she just beat Nerchio/Vortix and barely lost to Leenock in the Ritmix finals, 4-3.

I think Scarlett is a top 3 foreigner zerg right now, EU included.

its just cause shes still new beating nerchio and vortix doesnt put you as the top 3 foreigner and losing 4-3 in a ZvZ also is less impressive then if it was a different match up since ZvZ is.... ZvZ

Well how much of her do you need to see before you realize how good she is? I am a huge fan of idra, but scarlett has shown better results. She won WCS Canada AND WCS NA unless I am mistaken and has done quiet well in that one tournament where she beat nerchio and vortex and notlosing to leenock 4-3 is no easy feat.

This isn't the scarlett fan club but to try and downplay her achievements is a joke no matter who the player is that's very, very good. Does it make her top 3 foreigner? No idea, but she is very good and has had stronger results then idra lately in the few tournaments she does play.

i never said she wasnt a good player, shes definently a very strong zerg but she won ONE tournament and the other big names were palying 2 tournaments at the same time, its nothing like stephano who won an IPL right out of the gate

people come and go all the time in this scene you could win one tournament and be forgotten by the next thats why its important to look at there history and see how that person has done over a period of time using one tournament to determine how good she is is not accurate at all

if shed been to every tournament possible it would be easier but the only lans shes been to has been MLG and WCS

Just got one of the Idra signed poster deals off of splitreason. Their packaging is atrocious
no tube for the poster, box came in a terrible state, and the poster was literally bent at several different places.

Ho hum. At least the shirt is good

For those who didn't follow, IdrA will be playing against Roro in the wcs global finals. The groups are GSL style so if he wins/loses he will play against the winner/loser of Stephano vs Hero

It's understandable, but at the same time could have provided some invaluable warm ups to the tournament. Besides, if he won it or placed well (which isn't impossible to think, since the strongest players are MC and Grubby IMO) it'd add a lot of confidence.

That, and he'd already be over there acclimatising.

I love your confidence in IdrA but I'm sorry, he won't make it out. RorO's zvz is really good from what i've seen, and Stephano's zvz is able to defeat all foreigners and a lot of korean zvz's except for some of the really top ones. Let's hope he does well though ^^

just as good at looking up how brackets work as you are at predicting SC2 games, if he beats both roro and stephano, he will be out of his group in first place and matched against the second place finisher of group D (State, BabyKnight, MaFia and Rain). So he wont face roro twice in the group if he wins vs both roro and idra.

Also im pretty sure Idra wont win 2-0 against stephano, maybe 2-1 if idra has kept on improving since MLG, however it will be a really hard group, many consider it the group of death. And IdrA has to perform alot better than he did the rest of this year to advance from the group.

But one can not lose hope, perhaps this is IdrAs great comeback
