scarlett doesnt really go to enough events, aside from WCS (and all the big name players were either doing NASL or MLG at the same time) she hasnt really done OMG SO AMAZING well
she is a top tier foreigner but i think IdrA is definently the best NA player right now and one of the best foreigners
not fanboiism talking just looking at recent and overall results

what strong showings has she ahd aside from WC? its certainly an achievment to win it but all the big names like IdrA and HuK were playing in MLG or NASL at the same time

I am not disappointed, if IdrA won´t make it it out of the group in WCS since it´s damn hard.^^

Doesn't he regularly beat her on a smurf on ladder? I recall hearing him say "I think this is scarlett" several times last time I watched his stream.

Yes, and I'm saying it is silly to say either is concretely the best, when all we can base it on are two great performances and a mediocre one from Scarlett, and several mediocre to good performances by Idra(relative to US representation and foreigners) If Idra does well at WCS, I am ALL for calling him the best NA player assuming Scarlett falls short, but I mean, people that are not fans of Idra probably won't agree that easily, which is what I originally said.

tbh, I have no idea if this is the case ._. I dunno, I don't like using ladder in general as a way to gauge skill and ranking like that, and we have previously said, when Idra was the one in question, that ladder doesn't mean too much. I think that applies to Scarlett as well, and besides, that's just one match up

Well she just beat Nerchio/Vortix and barely lost to Leenock in the Ritmix finals, 4-3.
I think Scarlett is a top 3 foreigner zerg right now, EU included.

For some positivity, I recently saw an Idra interview where he said something to the effect that he no longer thinks he has all the answers, and he's willing to learn from other people. I think this is a very promising statement!
