edit: you trolled me, hes not banned. well played.
He got banned for trashing HuK on SOTG after MLG.
i dont think that ban was entirely serious. the admin was drunk or someone got on his phone. i forget the exact story.

First, I know it's been ages since I have last updated the fanclub. I've got a lot of things to take care of at the moment but as soon as I finish my dissertation, I will take care of it.
Second, apparently Idra will be playing at a LAN event in Phoenix next Sunday and one of the organisers is collecting questions for an interview. Some of you might remember that half a year ago Artosis made an interview with Idra with questions submitted by the fanclub and it was a pretty good one, I think. So, if you have any questions, PM me and I will redirect them. Please don't just post them in here because at the moment I can't afford to even read every post in this thread.
P.S. I approve of "Grackheads" as a term.
would you like me to make a post that copy/pastes the fanclub and update it. you could just copy/paste my updated post and put it on the op.
So, why doesn't Idra suck it up and switch to protoss? TLO has said it's not to hard to learn other races, and everyone says that Zerg fits his 'style' but does it really?
He wants to play defensively, macro up, and then overwhelm his opponent. That's pretty much what 2/3 base deathball is. You just switch from defensive macro mode to overwhelm mode earlier, even if you're behind 50 food you still dominate. He's waiting for a miracle patch to fix zerg, but it still hasn't come. With fewer and fewer zerg players doing well, why not just embrace the fact that Blizz wants SC2 to be a two race game and just go play toss?

Argued this is the tournament thread. It seems he wasn't mining gas from either of his bottom expansions. Essentially, he had free supply, larva and 4k minerals but no gas and he wasn't pumping enough hydras to stop the immortal/stalker push. It was a mistake on his part, sadly.
I was thinking the exact same thing as soon as Idra typed it out. Naniwa shouldn't have won that at all. Once he lost his death ball, the game should have been over. You have to literally put in everything to kill the deathball

Now that fungal does decent damage to colossus, stalkers, AND void rays.. it might be entirely worth it to just suicide an infestor (similar to a HT) into the protoss army to fungal. If the protoss clump their colossus and rays over their stalkers, it could potentially do 500-1000 damage per fungal

Zerg patches are going to come out soon.
Source? Infestors alone will not help balance Zerg in this game. Blizzard really needs to just get off their asses and do something, but I guess they think balance revolves around Bunker build times. Whatever. I guess I'll just keep getting rocked by the deathball until they do do something.

Starcraft 2 ZvP feels kinda like BW TvZ where you have a decent midgame you can take advantage of but once lategame rolls around you might as well gg. The protoss warp-in mechanic feels more flexible than zerg's reinforce late game. Lets just make Protoss harder to play and maybe add some defensive abilities to let zerg get into midgame safely and hopefully end it before the Protoss gets the full deathball.
Love Idra's Interviews and his understanding with the game just don't understand why he gets so upset when he loses matches. Obviously he has opinions on the balance of the game and races which are fair but he also fails to give credit to players who have figured out timings against his one dimensional style of play. Hope his return to the US will bring him better results but I also hope he mixes up his play a bit more.
