Considering that HotS is coming out in the next few months is probably smarter to just stay in US and maybe later take a trip to Korea when HotS is out and grind it out.
Its just not realistic to expect someone with Idras training regiment to compete with the stuff Taeja, Moon and Puma (who moved back to Korea) get on a daily basis. He had a realistic chance against Taeja despite only practicing in US. When Idra gets going he plays really good, when he loses 0-3 in shit games wheere his opponent didn't really play ''better'' he won't do that good when made to play elimination games 5 minutes after. Go figure Yeah, i think he needs to work a lot on his mindset, because when he is not on tilt he plays fucking amazingly.

I think today was mostly about failing to build up momentum, and perhaps having a bad day in general I agree, he was extremely tired just looking at his eyes... EDIT: i think that those games against moon which took like 0 skill were what brought him so down. He knows his mistake though, we don't need to point it out.

Everything is relative ... and there is no shame losing too MMA And Stephano often does very well in Tourneys I feel like IdrA just needs to get better at reading his opponents - because almost all the games he lost was because he wasnt ready

i.e. he knew moon was going for the attack at his third base but instead of just going for more roaches and delaying the infestors he tried to make three infestors right away and still hold. Didn't work both games.
He made the read against moon in game 3 except that it was a scout, not a read.
He made the read against puma in game 1, execution was off game 2, execution was off game 3, execution was off and he saw the attack coming
IdrA always gets the scout off, but he ended up failing against drops etc.
He knows his mistakes, let's stop pointing them out please.

damn 0-6 idra probably in rage/sad mode

no.
Moon game 1: i dont know whats with the fast infestor + burrow. ???? moon doesnt take 44 supply 3rd at all.
game 2: didn't expect baneling attack at all...moon win.
game 3: drones around spine was horribly wrong. drones blocking queen may be better or send them to main
Puma game 1:roach bane vs reactor hellion(which immediately scouts) into banshee???
shoulve been fast roach pressure (~7:30)or quick 3rd with queen spore
game 2: muta got completely seen by puma. puma spam turret. sees push and drops idra main, delaying the attack until 3 siege tanks are ready. you all know what ling/bling vs terran 3rd on ohana is like.
ZvZ: textbook play is better. infestor build worked vs protosser cos he went muta every game. ZvT: not bad. hellions are good units though. so are banshees.

Sad for such an early departure from the tournament`~~~~~ Was hoping for at least ro8 =(

Disappointing, but honestly what I was expecting.
Maybe next time.

Ahh this is bad, barely any posts after his games compared to before.
Idra is really losing track, in every possible way.
Come on Greg, do you want to become irrelevant? Washed up? Your favourite player was Nada, the guy with the best track record in history. Step it up!

Protosser failed because he does not have the mechanics to make 2 base mutalisk work. Idra proved his mechanical superiority in those series.

I feel we don't post as much because we've kinda exhausted everything. Every excuse, every encouragement. The fan club is always open in a tab for me, but I feel that I've got nothing to say most of the time so I just don't. IdrA is still my favourite player and I feel he'll remain in that spot until he retires, then he'll probably become my favourite caster or 21st century physicist.

Whats bad is that people are expecting too much of him

I think the only person expecting too much from IdrA is Greg himself.
Maybe I'm off base, but I get the feeling from watching him that he just needs to relax and take his results as they come and keep working on getting back into shape from his extreme low period. Getting pissed off and impatient for tournament results is only going to hurt in the long run.
