The combo with incontrol was a pleasure to listen to. I can see why some find him a bit boring, but I find the lack of fake excitement refreshing. analytic commentary with a funny commentary with a dash of excitement, topped with professionalism, mixed is the best. that's why tastosis is so, so good. perfect balance that's why idra/incontrol is also pretty damn good. that's why day9/anyone else is so good too.

It doesn't matter." you know it's funny because i've been tossing this around in my head today and i've come to a few conclusions. first off, it's a shame that Idra won't participate, considering that idra does have history in TSL. that said, he does bring up a good point about it being online. now, let me start off by saying i really enjoyed the last TSL, it was good fun (except when cruncher knocked out idra because of... well let's not get into that). however it is true that it is online and that it's even cross server. let's think of the koreans. the koreans who were invited to play were the ones who were dominating the scene at that time. half of them (if not more) got knocked out in the ro32. i'm not going to take anything away from those who knocked them out, but there's something a tad fishy when GSL juggernauts get knocked out so early in a tournament. latency ends up killing the game after all. there were almost only upsets. again, i'm not taking anything away from those who beat the koreans, cross server or not they did deserve the wins. this gets me thinking, maybe TSL needs to evolve to a HSC-like style. LAN conditions are too important for a given tournament these days. because when you see top players just going meh @ TSL (fuck, aren't you supposed to get hyped for TSL???) it means something's wrong. TSL back then had the prestige of being the best online tournament, but even that doesn't mean much given the amount of other big tournaments in the scene. MLG, GSL, DH, etc... these tournaments weren't there before but now they are. it unfortunately means that TSL gets put aside maybe, which sucks as it's the god damn TSL. iirc, TSL was there to give a foreign-equivalent of MSL/OSL am i right? now we have those :s ![]() my 0,02 € ...

He faces x6.Suppy in the first round http://www.nationalesl.com/us/sc2/go4sc2/gamescom3/rankings/ Top 4 will qualify for IEM. If he can get past Suppy, who I know nothing off, I assume a relatively easy win vs State/killer. The other side of the bracket is fucking stacked though

If he plays as well as he can he should be one of the top 4 that qualifies, so hopefully he'll do that.

I looked in the previous qualifier and Suppy 2-0'd Golden, 2-1'd Vibe, and 2-0'd Hawk, so I'd say his ZvZ is pretty good. I agree that if IdrA can beat Suppy he can beat Killer/State.
