Well, mvp has done fine against everyone else in this tournament so...

if Idra wins this game he has 3:0ed mvp and maybe can get 2nd in the group...

According to Idra himself MVP's wrists are fucked to the point where he can't practice. Quite astonishing that Mvp's still able to stay in Code S in spite of that. Nevertheless IdrA did play better than any other game I've seen him play this year despite Mvp's bad play.

Jinro and his sub 30% winrate against Code B zergs. Thorzain and his weakest matchup by far. Supernova and his inexplicable collapses in foreign tournaments. I'm glad that Idra has a victory to silence the haters, but his homers really need to stop overhyping every little thing that goes right for him.

MVP was constantly floating like 500+ minerals and kept not making workers for whatever reason. IdrA played very well but honestly, its not that hard to shut everything down when MVP has 2/3rds of what he should at that point as well as apparently microing nothing at all. Let's see how IdrA does in the future, this series looked like a couple ladder games in NA GM.

I agree with you. If this was anyone else, like Sheth for example (don't get me wrong, I love Sheth), people will be all happy clappy and stuffs...

Who cares if MVP had a wrist injury or is supposedly out of practice, no one really knows how much the risk injury is actually affecting him and I believe it was his best interest to win those games against Idra. Mvp is one of the best players in the world and after a long slump from Idra a win against him is something to celebrate. Stop trying to take away from Idra's win by making excuses for MVP's play. It was Idra and MVP playing, Idra came out on top and thats all that matters.

IdrA showed amazing games his opponents skill doesnt retract from the amazing control and defence and impeccable timing and Macro IdrA showed in those games
even his games against MVP showed IdrAs skill

IdrA wins a game, haters join the fanclub to downplay it as much as they can. MVP beat thorzain and symbol quite handily in this tournament, what's your excuse for that?

Not insignificant, not anything to exaggerate. He played against an opponent who was performing at a subpar level. Of course people will obviously hype up the victory itself and completely ignore how Idra is finally adapting a new style in ZvT, one that will be far more successful for his mindset in the matchup. That is what Idra fans should truly be excited about.

Shutting down embarrassing Idra homers. One of the reasons people disrespect Idra so much is because his fanbase reflects poorly on him. He doesn't deserve that type of hate.

We make excuses when IdrA loses, they make excuses when IdrA wins. I guess it all balances out in the end lol.

MVP was behind a lil bit after failing to proxy rax for damage, further more he seemed to expect a muta centric style (and modern idra has forsaken that style almost completely in favor of heavy upgraded lings/infestor) so his push designed to hit right before mutas is all of a sudden met by scary masses of lings with upgrades and loses a handful of tanks and marines for basically nothing, these losses compiled into a loss, people just have a tendency to assume if MVP loses, he played bad...
