They missed the ling runby to the 3rd while he was suiciding his roaches against the natural. It was 3-4 blocks of red health before the lings got cleaned up. If that 3rd goes down, its a completely different game, but of course, the nexus survived.

3 base VS 3 base and he lost alot of drones to that attack with no real tech to fall back on

He lost all his mutas, lost all his drones at natural, equal bases with toss. Plus, we could see he was behind on supply. That was aptly timed imo.

Btw his fourth wasn't saturated from what i saw on the minimap. Casters didn't actually show it. They just showed that gas was being taken when it finished, but i didn't see any drones. So yeah kinda, idra started hydra den, he was broke, no bases, he can't really do much imo.

Oh well, still hopefull he will advance.

the biggest mistake i saw was idra forgetting to start his roach warren after it got sniped by DT. otherwise that archon zealot push may not have killed all the drones in his natural and main, and could muster up a roach hydra army at the end.

The Phoenix Count was just way too high... Even if he had gotten hydras out he would never have gotten a hydra count big enough to straight out kill the phoenix. It's not the econ that he was behind in. It was his tech. Its not really possible to come back from that situation
