A boxer like Floyd Mayweather talks a lot of shit but he backs it up. Idra talks a lot of shit but he backs it up. I don't see a difference. The concept of manners in e-sports was made up; a lot of players don't GG before they quit, a lot of players get mad at a stupid loss and insult their opponent. But people see a good player like IdrA do it and it shatters their whole world. I love the holier than thou attitude people have and it's great to hear them make wild claims without a lick of evidence to back it up. | ||

If there is one community RTS players should compare themselves to it's the chess one. I think he;s been part of this forum long enough to know what he can say and what he can't say. If he got banned, it was probably because he felt it was worth saying whatever it was would get him in trouble. And saying RTS games are like chess and not boxing and football tells me you're missing the point: They are all competitive. Personalities clash in competition. People need to deal with it. I find IdrA hilarious, others do not. Either way, it's not a big enough deal for people to get bent out of shape about it. | ||

People need to deal with it. what were you trying to explain? that in football personalities don't clash? and not in boxing? they are not competitive? and in chess they do? i mean. what should the reply be? i don't even know what to say. maybe that you need watch sports. i don't know my point is that you can not compare any board game or sport to this RTS video game. it makes no sense. chess and other sports require completely, totally, different mechanics! i don't even know what to say. i think it was not fair to ban idrA. just my opinion which obviously does not count. but if we could have a vote. i would certainly vote that the banning of idrA was unjust. | ||
