IdrA made mistakes. He got his infestors too late, the banelings were pretty much useless against blink stalkers. I really think he should make more use of infestors earlier into the game vs protoss.

Idra just forgot to make infestors.. the key unit to baneling play against toss is infestors.
Fungal the units and then roll in with banes. Completely forgot to make them despite getting pathogen glands and only made them when he had already lost.
I also think he should have had hydras, because of pure DPS.
Hydra Roach Infestor is the perfect counter to Max Protoss.
Though i hate to admit it, that last game was not imbalance. it was mistakes by Idra.

Yeah it's really bullshit, it's like what, quarter finals or semis now? Or at least around it?

MLG has to fix that. I mean, the finals are a bo5. A bo7 this far into an epic tourney like this would have been more epic.

If he went with Ultras instead of Brood Lords, I think the outcome would have been very, very different. I would have liked to see Ling/Infestor/Ultra(/Corruptors for Colossi) vs that composition.

Sure, it would be great if he got infestors and won, but that was MARVELOUS TOURNEY RUN, taking down not one, NOT TWO, BUT 3 KOREANS, did so well. I wish he had built festors, but oh well. GO GOO IDRA, <3 <3 <3 all we can do now is cheer for Huk

The only way to straight up defeat a mass blink stalker force is with zergling - infestor - ultra. 50 roaches can't beat 30 blink stalkers with proper micro.
