I am a devoted Day 9 fan, and not your typical gamer. I am an oldskool hardcore Descent player from back in the day - we were one of the prototype gaming communities. And I had a huge role in shaping that scene
However I left the serious hardcore gaming lifestyle in the past when I graduated from college back in 99. (yes, I am in my late 30's and to most of ya'll on here - even if you might not know it hanging out with me in person) - truth is I am probably a dinosaur lol)
Thanks in part to Sean I have a passionate love for this game and the community that surrounds it. I play as a hobby - but for the most part I follow this sport like some guys paint their bodies up in football colors and act like morons in the freezing cold in some stadium in the Midwest.
I love this game man. I love the competition and the characters that populate it and I have an entire YouTube account dedicated to nothing but SC2 VODs and tuturials.
Sean's show is a big part of my life now, and is probably one of the most enjoyable and entertaining things I have ever come acrost in my life lol.
Always puts a smile on my face after a tough day. Always stokes my intellectual curiosity about the depth of this game, and gives me more reasons to appreciate the talent of the peeps that play it at the high levels.
And ... (dont take this in any way but the best of all possible ways) Sean, many a times I have put on the Daily late at night and dozed off listening to you do your show bro.
I don't do Xanex or Vallum or Nyquil but the sound of your voice is soothing and puts me out when I am tired and have a lot of bs on my mind! TRUTH lol
That kind of passion and enthusiasm for anything in life is inspiring.

Thanks for putting the fake game 3 to keep results of game 2 a secret. After Tyler lost all the probes and just kept getting more and more pounded on I kept thinking "How in the hell does he come back from this?!?!?"

It has finally happened! I've met mr Day[9] in real life at DreamHack, Sweden. I got to shake the hand of the man I admire and truly appreciate the most and exchange a few words with the thought-hammer himself, before getting my mousepad signed.
