EDIT: And yes, there are some replays of his on GR, but most or all of them were for old patches and thus impossible to run.

Ok, yeah I saw the link and went there but the first page asked me to register so I navigated away. Was hoping for a more mainstream offering like Youtube or something. I'll check the site again, thanks
edit: bugmenot.com to the rescue.

The game is new, people are still figuring it out, and he took advantage of that fact by going random and forcing the opponent to deal with yet ANOTHER unknown factor, and that is why he was able to get away with so much silliness.
I don't know if anyone else has taken apart your argument, but... seriously?
Are you just trying to be cool by defending convention? Did you even watch any of TheLittleOne's games? Strategy after strategy was implemented minutes AFTER his opponent scouted him. He didn't cheese every game, he just responded to his opponents' attacks with such sublime elegance and control that everybody on that stream couldn't help but be impressed. White'Ra had some sick Immortal micro, and did very well to win the tournament, but how you can somehow condemn a player for being skilled at Random is beyond me. TheLittleOne's play was brilliant, and has constituted the most exciting SC2 action that I've seen.

What I think LF9 was trying to say was that every race's possibilities and weird strategies are limited and tend to work only once. This means, by playing random, you tripple the amount of stuff you could be doing, which obviously makes your chances better if you are trying to put your enemy out of his comfort zone.
