Anyone else hear about MC Mong getting arrested? That's some cray-cray stuff if he really did get most of his teeth pulled to avoid military service. I've heard from Korean friends who've completed theirs that it can be hell, but I think for a celebrity the stigma of trying to get out of it is so much worse. Lee Junki's image has gone up even more since he performed whilst injured for his military-based musical. That's the kind of dedicated patriotism/devotion to the draft and it's responsibilities Korean fans want to see I guess.

If it turns out to be true he can probably kiss his career goodbye. I'm not a fan, but surely no one is dumb enough to think they won't get found out if they're living such a high profile life and have the scrutiny of K-netizens to contend with?

Dodging military service is one of the ultimate no-no's in Korea. Just ask Yoo Seung Jun (and he technically did nothing wrong too lol).

Jesus, they make it seem like they're gonna die if they go in... terrible. Just doing a few weeks of BT and assigned a position, and its only 2 years. Plus the fact that hes a celebrity, his social status and job security should hold firm.
