When you say that someone has potential and then follow it with a BUT and a comment on their ethnicity, there is something wrong. You might care to notice that I made no direct accusations in the one and only reply I originally intended to make.
But anyway, so as to actually say something about Miss A, I didn't think that the song was very strong but their performance was. There is kind of a weird trend going on right now where songs are receiving these awkward bookend moments. I felt the same way about Push Push. There are good moments but the beginning and ending throw it off a little, in my opinion.

But I noticed that there was no moderator angst during the show today and comments were more or less positive in the thread when the teaser came out. Was anyone who generally dislikes them watching, and if so, opinions? I didn't stay up all night listening to HuH but I didn't stay up all night listening to Hot Issue either. I think that's twice now that the second single from one of their albums has been noticeably more listenable than the first.

Most of 4minutes promotional stuff has been pretty bad. Outside of Hyuna, there's not much hate toward 4minute by any of the stream staff, just calling bad stuff bad.

I actually think the title of that song was taken from a song by a group called Polysics that came out a few years ago. It would make sense anyway since it is kind of an unusual arrangement of words.

Honestly, their early stuff was pretty bad in my eyes. I hated muzik, and thought Hot Issue was even worse. Especially during Hot Issue, I didn't really see any potential in the group other than serving as a spotlight for Hyunah's return to entertainment.
But HuH was honestly a lot better. The song itself was definitely a large step up over garbage, and Hyunah's role, both in the song and in promotions, was greatly reduced. In other words, they're getting much much better as a real group in my eyes. I don't think there was actual hate towards 4minute in the past, people just 1) thought the song sucked 2) didn't like Hyunah.
Also, I'm really glad somebody brought up Polysics (because they're great) but I don't think the title was taken from the song. It's not like the songs are related in any way.

I think the best song on their last album was For Muzik, honestly. I probably listened to that more than anything else. But I also thought Muzik was pretty good and often listened to them together.
The songs don't have to be related for one to be inspired by the title of the other. In the past I've been inspired by song titles more than once. I would read the title, and get a feeling for what the song might be like, but then the actual song would usually be quite different. So I would say to myself "well, maybe I'll write the song I was thinking of then".

Well I mean everybody has their own opinion about which songs are good, the main thing I was trying to say is that there isn't a kpf mod conspiracy to hate 4minute, it was just the general opinion of the mods that Huh (the album) is a positive step for 4minute.
Well if the songs are completely unrelated, the fact that the titles are the same is just coincidence without evidence.

Haha, well all conspiracy theories aside, it's just a fact that there were often negative comments during performances. I wanted to ask for opinions since a number of the moderators are people who frequently post here.
Considering how unusual the title is I don't see why it is a stretch to imagine that it was borrowed. It's not like any reasonable person would consider it plagiarism. Similar stuff happens in music all the time really. A couple of Oasis titles were based on phrases from t-shirts.

I'm kinda surprised with all this about 4minute, for me Muzik is the very best out of the recent girl group songs and nothing else by any other group comes close. There's just a lot of energy and rhythm to it, it makes me wanna jump up and start dancing every time I hear it. I don't mean vocals or dance routine or Hyuna whatever, just the song itself, it simply rocks. Hot Issue is pretty good in that regard too.
I sometimes wish SNSD had songs as good as this and not some Oh! crap.

Maybe I am biased because I saw them perform live before anyone really knew who they were but I thought they were THA BOMB of 2009. Lots of e-people ended up whining that they were trying to steal the spotlight from 2NE1 but despite the fact that I liked Fire it never had the power to get my butt shaking I tell you what.

There's a lot of Hyuna haters out there but I'm a big fan of Hyuna. Unlike most kpop girl group members, Hyuna can actually dance with the energy, precision, and style that the choreographers intended when they designed the dance.
