oh and in other news - one of my earlier fav k-drama guys is getting fucked by his company. lee seung gi - i thought he was too big to get shit on like that. (if all that is said is true and currently i believe that at least most of it is) | ||

Pleased with the new management so far. I've been thinking that, so far during the promotion cycle; Youngji, Jiyoung, and HSY have been killing it the most, probably in that order. Nicole did good on that MAMA stage. I wish there had been more of her red outfit that we saw in the teaser in the actual MV. Jiyoung's appearance in the MV at 0:57 is the best movie reveal of 2022. Move Again is good, but not a top 5 KARA jam I don't think, at least not yet, may grow on me like their music usually does. The radio thing, Killing Voice, where they went through most of the singles was quite impressive! Picked up some vocals, I don't think I've ever heard before. | ||

I'm happy to see that a group of smart people realized the value of the asset and decided to get it cash flowing again. | ||

The holidays got me nostalgic, plus the KARA reunion, and I got pretty high and realized how strange, maybe fascinating, being a fan of someone and not of their music, but, of them, is in that industry. Not that I dislike the music mind you, but it’s not necessarily the main thing, and that’s by design. And there are thousands of other people like that. Some of them have pictures of themselves with the performer in different countries... But the only time they meet is at organized fan meetings, performances, etc. Some dedicate their time to trying to help to promote and to make them more accessible to foreigners. Translating, reposting.. easy things to do, that quickly become things that you do, and a piece of your identity. The artists cry at the end of performances, sometimes at the end of interviews because they’re grateful for these people. …anyways, When I Move is a fuckin’ banger! And there were 6 KARASIAS, whoa. I may not be using commas correctly in English, but I sure like to use them, a lot. Not sure why I’m doubting my commas though…I know I’m dope with the commas in French.
