No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.

Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.
People are already siding against Irene or with Irene as if they know what really happened or how she really treats the people around her. Truth is no one knows it, even many of the people who've worked with her before probably only know a snapshot of her life. So how can people outside of that circle know anything at all? And then there may also be fake posts and false rumors circulating (easy to do in this day and age, and I'm sure many people would have the incentive for it). This is not something that concerns us. It's only up to Irene and the stylist to decide what the situation means to them. No matter whether you're a fan or just a casual follower: calm your tits and don't judge so easily.
After the scandals in recent years (both real and fake ones) these sudden online mob attacks against kpop artists have become a trend. This cancel culture needs to stop. But it probably won't, and that's a big problem. It turns these artists even more into puppets and their life becomes even more stressful. If people want to make sure the kpop scene becomes increasingly toxic until it's just a shitshow, well, this is exactly how we can accomplish that. Just keep getting involved in the personal drama of the so-called "idols", keep posting unqualified opinions, and we'll end up with a completely toxic environment.
Just my 2 cents, I'm not gonna post anything else about this.
A white knight? I'm not an Irene fan, she always struck me as a little uptight. But good to know you're assuming things about people you don't know (me) just like you assume things about Irene, who you also don't know.
There have been enough idols proved harassing the staff that when something rises to the level of being confirmed by their parent company, especially one with the amount of power that SM has (i.e. suppressing capability) that the burden of innocence is on their shoulders.
They've already been proven guilty; the question is how much of a pattern is it? Is it possible it's an isolated incident? Sure. Is this kind of behavior usually a one time thing, idol or otherwise? No.
Most of the people in this thread don't care much one way or the other and we're certainly not a place that idols are reading, so presuming that this is what's going push the toxic netizen environment over the edge is way too much of a leap.
There are no pitchforks being raised here lol. The incident happened and Irene herself admits it happened. What's this "No one knows the truth" angle that you're pitching?
Go on Youtube if you wanna see the witchhunt, i's already in full swing. Just from this one incident alone - about which we don't even know the full story - many people are saying she's a horrible person and should be cancelled, saying her career should end and whatnot.
The fact that Irene/SM responded with an apology doesn't mean the accusation is 100% true, it could just mean that it'd be damaging to Irene's reputation if the recording came out, even if she wasn't "yelling for 20 minutes straight", and regardless of whether or not she had any good reason to be upset.
I said I'm not gonna post anything more about this, but I didn't think even people in here wouldn't be using their brain like this. I thought this was a kpop-friendly thread. Maybe I was wrong.

TL KMD first since tuelite? And even tuelite can change for the better.
I will like to mention that when the scandal hit, a number of people rushed to defend Seulgi but crickets were heard for Irene. Draw your own conclusions as to what you will like to believe.
