once in my life i had a suicidal state of mind and i was pretty good at distancing myself from anyone - might even be people who think they are close but in reality are worlds apart. And i was not bombarded by hatefullness by a lot of korean retards and whatnot so what she went throu must ve been rather tough.

For sure no one will learn anything from this. Maybe the online hate will go down a bit the next few weeks but it will be the same soon again. Not long ago KARA's Goo Hara tried to kill herself too, random manager managed to save her that time but where are these people's families?
Twice Mina is also in a really bad state being escorted by her mom through airports and looking like she had a big breakdown.
Taeyeon seem depressed and lonely too. She was close friends with Sulli so we can only hope someone is checking on her frequently.

the industry will never change because its not a problem exclusive to the entertainment industry. the problem stems from the fact that korean celebrities are held in too high esteem and that "celebrity" is ranked in the top 2 for ideal jobs for students of all ages (the other being progamer). when you have entire generations all being so fked up culturally to the point that they all wish they could be celebrities, obviously youre going to end up with a whole lot of young people who are desperate enough to be exploited. its incredibly naive to assume that the adults are just gonna have revelations and decide to be very ethical in their practices.
korea needs to stop worshipping celebrities. the term idol is disgusting and i dunno how it even came to be in the first place. unfortunately this worshipping of korean idols by fans is no longer a korea exclusive problem. the amount of deluded foreign kpop fans on sites like allkpop is equally disturbing and probably dangerous

Solving fan culture is a tough cookie , you don't just change culture, its not really within their power.

What they can do is step in on the idol side, the government needs to step in basically because the companies don't give a shit. Slave contracts, undoable working hours, large restrictions on private life etc you name it.

Also getting rid of anonymity on the internet is a whole ballpark that can be considered quite dangerous prolly err on the side of caution of giving any government that kind of info.
