Honestly if you're going to dedicate yourself to making more posts like this it's not quite worth the time. I'm sure an endeavor like this takes a big chunk of time, and most of the time you post one, it gets lost and jumbled in the clusterfuck that is KMD.
Either make a blog and hotlink to each these posts if you still want to post em in this thread, or, conversely, move all of it onto the blog and make a post in this thread linking to it every time you update it. That way, once you build a reputation of making quality posts like these, people will A. know where to look and B. won't have to search through a bunch of random posts to find them in this gigantic thread.
I like the idea and your initiative and I'd hate to see it just wasted like this. Because your target audience is the casual fan and some of us are already aware of these groups, your impact is going to be lower if you post them here.
At least, that's what I would do if I were to do something like this.

I responded to a post in a very standard fashion. He made a mention that he thought it would be a boring group, I said why I thought it might be a good one. Are we not allowed to have discussions of forums in threads clearly dictated for the topic at hand? Seems... interesting.
My jab afterwards was at THE GROUP I AM PART OF and a joke at the general sentiment that comes up every time someone posts in a positive way about SNSD. In fact, it was a satirical note of exactly what is happening right now. AsnSensation asked for details, I responded with videos and thoughts. None of it insulting, none of rabid.
So in what way is that "having to get the last word"? Because to me it sounds like a very standard conversation either online or in person. You are literally interpreting a conversation as rabid fanboyism and hate because of some stupid preconcieved notion about a fandom.

Yeah, I have all their posters plastered on my walls, my shelf is stacked with their cd's and repackaged albums, I have all the cards out on display even the last three members I don't particularly have an interest in.

You know, I wonder what would happen if everyone that got into arguments just got temp banned. I wonder what the KMD thread would look like. I never had a problem with the arguments before, since I just skipped them, but now it's turning to be whole pages with zero relevant posts to the thread itself. These biases are really getting out of hand. I didn't really read anything of what is being argued, but if history has said anything its most likely because of these biases.
When I first listened to Kpop, I would just watch the youtube videos with the lyrics on screen. That was a year ago. Only until just a few months ago had I really started watching music videos. Kpop was about the music for me, not the why X is better than Y because X is hot and Y is not. I didn't even know what anyone looked liked, I liked them for their music. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own reasons to why they like Kpop. I mainly come to KMD to look for posts of new music, not these petty arguments. I have biases myself now for IU and Jessica, learning how damn pretty they are, but I never let that get in the way of why I actually come to this thread. If someone is gonna hate, just ignore it for god's sake. That's just my personal rant that I wanted to say: why I got into Kpop, why I'm here in KMD, and what I think should be different if this thread does not want to be locked. I'd be damn sad to see this locked because this is where I get most of my new music from given my busy college life. I just don't have the time to follow all of the groups I like, and it's relaxing to be able to come home from a long day of class to catch up on what's new and any future comebacks.
