it lets you monitor (listen to) your own voice if there's a lot of competing voices or loud background music, so that you can stay in tune and such. i think it's sort of force-of-habit in taeyeon's case though, because she's obviously wearing some earphones to monitor anyways. but then again, they might not isolate that well, so she's covering it to try and hear the earphone better. | ||
