Just realized that it's year of the snake and those born in 89 are all snakes, so it should be a good year for SNSD even with bad title tracks, since most of them and alot of other idols are born in 89^^ | ||

At the start it just sounded like a mess, but when you give it a few more listens, most of it flows pretty well, from a music standpoint, not knowing what the lyrics mean (probably not much, but the changes probably reflect the way the lyrics are structured). That's not to say it's the greatest pop song ever or somehow it advances the genre, but it's definitely something that grows quite a bit, and you can tell from the performances that it's a pretty energetic song, and it really works to bring in a lot of energy. I'm not sure you can talk about refined palette and pop for the most part with pretty much every pop song. | ||
