To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules; - Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
- When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
- No reposting of old material unless justified
- Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
- No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
- Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
- No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
- No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
- Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up. |

It wasn't overblown at all. It sucked baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad

Oh man, she is my favourite too. Yejin is great, but Eunyoung just takes the cake.
This was the first Brave Girls video I saw, and, engrish aside, oh lord dat body: + Show Spoiler +
It's funny how she's acting all diva then goes back into shy Korean girl mode and bows at the end.

Which begs the question, which is the reality? I don't think K-Pop understands what will happen to the women if the whole "I don't need a man" thing takes off. It hasn't really come up roses for men in America.

So this is only slightly kpop related but I don't know who to share my story with atm..
So I thought I was home alone and I was watching vampire diaries/we got married and enjoying my morning (I hadn't left my room yet). I had heard my mom and brother leave for school/work so I assumed I had the house to myself.. So as usual I am fangirling over girls day/miss a, freestyle rapping and beatboxing dubstep type shit at full volume...
I went full retard. I make my own weird lyrics formed from words I like or some shit... and scream like a schoolgirl when romantic scenes happen.. so this carried on for over an hour with nobody saying shit.
I was out of my room in my boxers screaming "SMACK YA BOOTY LIKE A LOCH NESS PIMP" while throwing out gangster hand signs and dancing only to find my mom and her bf staring at me mouths wide open trying to hold back their laughter,, unsuccessfully.
I scream, run back into my cave, dive under my blanket and pretend nothing happened. I can't leave. I can't look anyone in the face ever again..

This is my favorite story on KMD now.

As everyone in kmd is psychicly connected it means you simply took the hit for someone else. Somewhere one of us is able to fangirl in secret another day without being discovered

You don't know how I feel man.. like my innermost naked personality has been shown.. nobody but me is supposed to know this part of me exists.

10/10, best KMD post in a while. I haven't had a spaghetti moment yet involving kpop. and hopefully it'll never happen.

Made me thought of this
Poll: Do you have siblings to share Kpop withYes but I don't share Kpop with them (50) 61% Yes and I share Kpop with them (23) 28% No, don't have siblings to share Kpop with (9) 11% 82 total votes Your vote: Do you have siblings to share Kpop with (Vote): No, don't have siblings to share Kpop with (Vote): Yes and I share Kpop with them (Vote): Yes but I don't share Kpop with them
I have a brother that I share releases with, but we watch different things generally, variety, movies or drama etc etc.
|
My sister watches so much more variety shows than me, but I've got the upper hand when it comes to actual variety in music!
Also she really like Bom, but w/e >.>
|
I have a brother I have tried to get into kpop, but jpop got to him first.
|
Well I don't have any siblings in the first place... share a lot with classmates though
and Synapze, take comfort in the fact that your misery was enjoyable for everyone else at least ^^

My brother likes some type of metal music, so no.

Brave Girls. Check out 요즘 너 it's one of the best songs of the year, imo of course . I've been listening to it on and off ever since it came out. Such a cool tune. + Show Spoiler +
~Poll stuff My sister has no idea I'm into kpop. She didn't even know such a thing existed until the whole PSY thing and that didn't get her interested either. I'm still a meatalhead/blues-guy to her and that's the way it's gonna stay, at least for now. I did get quite a few of my friends hooked on some girl groups tho.

Out of curiosity, why is it that the rest of you got into kpop and not jpop? Was it mostly because of bw/sc2? I watched my first anime/manga and knew lots about Japan long, long before I ever laid eyes on jessica. When I think about it I cant understand why kpop and Korean culture sucked me into oblivion while jpop and Japanese culture remained a far away novelty

BW was my introduction, and that happened to be Kpop, so there ya go.
That being said Jpop is fine as well, just not as attached to specific groups/songs in the same way.

Watched a lot of Anime when I was like 14 or so, but never cared about anything else involving Japan.
Started getting into PC stuff and watching SC2 players, then was slowly infected with K-Pop disease.
