"Dear Boyfriend" isn't the best ballady song ever, but I think it really shows that HyunA is growing as a vocalist and gives me something to look forward to in the future for both her and 4minute. "Ice Cream" is growing on me, but it's still probably my least favorite song on the mini. But from the teasers, I think that I'm going to enjoy the MV a lot, so it's all good. I can see people not enjoying "Straight Up" or "Very Hot" much, but I like them both. r/kpop seems to really dislike "Very Hot", but I think the beat sounds nice. I really hope with "Very Hot" banned that CUBE decides to not change the lyrics (it'd make a horrible stage song) and just promote "Green Apple" instead since it has no cause to piss off her horde of antis, shows off a different side to her, and is actually a pretty good song. | ||
