Wow, the US is really riding the hype train of Gangnam Style right now and everyone wants their piece of it. Happy for PSY and I hope he cash in on it big time, but at the same time it sucks because like in that Ellen video, even PSY himself had to stop for a second and take the iniative to actually get to speak. It's like he is some kind of monkey that just shows up everywhere to dance "the funny dance" you know? And even if the song is catchy, most people are just a "fan" of the MV or the dance, not PSY the artist.
Will be fun to see how many views the MV gets before Gangnam Style or PSY starts to fade away from all the "mainstream" hype. And how many people that will actually start listening to his other songs and future songs. But since it's in korean and kpop, something tells me it won't be that many in the end.
Also, Britney looks stiff like a doll in that video, wtf.
Britney looks like she always does these days. High on drugs. Reminds me of a clip of hers I saw a few days ago: + Show Spoiler +
Anyway the best way to find wallpapers that I've found is just to google image search and put in advance search to only show big pics. Don't think there is a good website that collects em. If there is let me know! Edit: Oh yeah I got this one in bookmarks. http://fuckyeahhqkpop.tumblr.com/ got almost every artist/group but it doesn't seem to be updating as quick anymore.
Considering the wide range of 'looks' Britney has appeared in, I can't really complain about doll Britney xD
I just hope that Gangnam Style opens up America to Korean music, and the Korean culture. Not to say that everything Korean should be put on a pedestal, but generally more openness, more understanding and more interraction between cultures is really beneficial in making people wiser and better, and eventually turning the world into a better place.
Lol just found one of the funniest audition of all time ^^ Dunno why but this got repeated daily when I was in Korea and we caught it on TV every time, so bloody funny. Bwahahah this guy is legendary

I've almost never found a decent wallpaper through google image search. That tumblr is pretty decent though. Starsia.net has a really big collection of hq kpop (and a little bit of jpop) wallpapers. Navigating the site can be kind of annoying, but it's not really hard.
I'm gonna say that this whole thing is great for PSY but you have to wonder if America does get opened up to KPop and Korean culture (which I'm not totally sure, we have a habit of picking up one thing then leaving the rest alone) if that would be good for KPop/Korea. It's kinda like the say, "I stared into the abyss and the abyss stared back into me." Obviously I'm all for hot Korean women strutting their stuff but the problem with American culture is everyone does it already and has made women pretty undesirable because they all think they're sexy and they just come across slutty. We will see what happens.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch bro. A single K-pop video went viral; SO MAINSTREAM.
So found this on r/kpop and its pretty funny. You listen to others and if you want, create your own playlist and be dj. The djs rotate and the listeners vote on the djs songs.

Hence my saying earlier in that post that it may not even happen considering American pop culture takes something from some place and usually leaves the rest alone. We cherry pick so to speak.

Lol guess what song came up on shuffle when I was driving to school yesterday? GANGNAM STYLE! Man I swear that song is every where yo, PSY is so popular now, he's on all these talk shows. Does any one else think Kpop is going to be poplar in America now?? I don't think they're taking him seriously though, they all just think he's a silly Asian man lololol.
Let's be done with Gangnam Style forever please.
Edit. Go to Korean class. It's 9 AM. Just got done writing this post. The first thing 김선생님 does is play Gangnam Style. Fu.

Sounds like turntable, which I discovered last year and only used like once. Fun for a little bit but I it uninterested quickly.
The whole "what will psy's success do for kpop" thing has been discussed here to death and my position remains that one viral video won't propell an industry to mainstream success. Ain't gonna mean shit.

Yea, I get cynical around my friends when I hear the song. I get all angry hipster like "yea I heard that song before it was cool" and "yea I watched that when it had barely over 1000 views." Personally I think its a fad and it'll be gone as soon as it came in a month.
Edit: Agree with dysto, one viral video wont make the industry mainstream. Apparently this has been discussed to death but I haven't had time to read lately so I didn't know that.
