Say that makes me wonder, purely hypothetically, what'd you do if Nicole got kicked/left Kara? Would you care for the remains of the group at all, and would you still follow Nicole no matter what she ended up doing regardless?

Wouldn't care for the remains of the group at all to be honest.
I like KARA. I kind of liked all of the members to varying degrees but only because they are one. They're like a family.
The relationship they shared and display to me is more fun and entertaining than themselves if you understand what I'm saying.

I don't really like Hara for example; I'm not a big fan of her style, she's not that attractive to me physically nor intellectually, I don't like her voice, I don't like her dancing, etc. But, I like seeing her with the other members, talking or interacting with Seungyeon or having fun with Jiyoung etc.

If KARA was to break up that interaction, that core family like feeling would be lost and so would all my interest in the "group".

The only member I care for on her own is Nicole. I'd continue to follow her and support her no matter what happens and for forever.

But you still haven't answered my question, what kind of style or image would you like to see KARA comeback with ?

Anything but the cutesy girly look. I'm sick and tired of it. I love Hello Venus, Girl's Day, and A Pink, but that little frilly outfit stuff has got to go. Soshi probably had it the worse with Kissing You. It's one of my favorite songs but I hated the concept like no other.

Well... I'm not sure really, it's hard to say.

I think in general Kpop groups tend to slowly go from cutesy/aegyo-ish to more mature with age (unless you're GsD crazy), so going back to the old Kara style is somewhat unlikely. As far as what they've done the last year or so, I think Step was by far their best promotion, and while I wouldn't mind them doing something more sexy like Speed Up or more vocal like Winter Magic, sticking with the straight-up catchiness is probably what I'd prefer, then again that's always been my general preference for Kpop in general, (some exceptions ofc) so I guess I'm somewhat biased at that, not that that really matters.

Kara's next promotion will be a call to return to the Joseon era. Their outfits will be traditional hanboks and the song will be played entirely on traditional Korean instruments.

Yep, that's pretty much what I'm looking forward to as well.

I'll be happy if they just release more upbeat and catchy songs. It seems to be what they're best at.

BTW, I showed the Gangnam Style vid to my friends about a week ago, one of them said he'd play them at his wedding next month.

I thought he was joking, but now, maybe not. I need to learn that dance mang.
