To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.

Shit wasn't expecting a sexy concept so fast...not sure I like this.
Happy birthday Sica, ever since I started following kpop 2 and a half year ago she has always been #1 idol for me and it'll remain so for the future as well. I could write a more elaborate message about how she has "affected" my life over the past years, but I don't feel like going in to TuElite territory.

Apologies if one of my earlier posts was an annoyance to the thread. On that note, thanks to everyone that gave out suggestions. :D
Handholding is fine, what annoys me is when someone posts "Hey have you guys heard about this group 2PM they're so good, hope you like it!". It's the fucking Korean Music Discussion, just go in with the assumption that people know about the biggest groups out there. That would be like me going into the NBA thread and asking "Hey have you heard about this LeBron James guy? Heard he's pretty good at basketball." It makes no sense whatsoever.

Depends on the mods. If they want this thread to become a beacon of light for TL members to get into kpop, handholding should be allowed. But if it gets really bad, they should either start warning people or alter the op/whatever and make a 'KPOP 101' out of it for interested people that are new to kpop.
I was thinking it referred to people asking for help identifying songs.
Asking for requests does get a bit annoying since it's done so often and just reading the thread would lead you to the track listings of all the popular groups which is all you get anyway.
