I didn't like Blood+ at all so :/ What? I know blood+ was slow at the beginning but it was pretty decent. :o I thought the characters were extremely boring, the plot was overly long, the art was mediocre, and the soundtrack sucked. So yeah, I wasn't a huge fan. :/

Weren't the Gaidens made after Yang's original seiyuu died?

I've already used more than half of my 2TB external... before I had to constantly delete stuff. Given I store more than animes (VNs and some movies as well) I think I need to buy another one.

Finished Gaiden 1. In a nutshell, Chapters 1 and Chapters 4 it were masterful. Chapters 2 and 3 were okay, but not nearly as strong. + Show Spoiler +Chapters 1 and 4 were great. We got lots of land combat, which is something we didn't ever get in the main OVA. Land combat means that we get to see Reinhard and Kircheis be badasses in person, rather than with fleets. It really is a different flavor of LoGH, but its still great! Chapter 4 they even throw in a Rosenritter Subplot! Schenkopp establishes himself as the best character on the alliance side. You remember in Braveheart, where before that one battle, William Wallace goes up to the English generals, who have a much bigger army, and says "If you march out here, and kiss your own ass, we will let you live" (paraphrased)? Schenkopp gets his own opportunity to do that, and it was great. We even got + Show Spoiler +Schenkopp and Kircheis to fight each other in a fight! . Not sure if you guys remember Blumehart, but he was one of the more important Rosenritter guys. He was the guy from the Rosenritter who was with Yang during episode 82... Yeah, now I feel more connected with the guy. They did alot more to flesh him out in this gaiden. I had to go back and watch episode 82 just to make sure it was the same guy. Chapter 4 isn't even limited to Land Combat. It still has the great fleet battles that the main OVA has. We get to see Mittermeyer and Reuenthal do some stuff for a bit in battle (basically, they have small numbers, but they own anyway because they are Mittermeyer and Reuenthal), even though its mostly just cameos for them. Bittenfeld got a bit of screentime as well. Reinhard sees his ship destroy a few enemy ships single-handed, and goes like "that guy must be a badass". The minor character on the Imperial Side who got the most screentime was Kesler. While he didn't particularly do anything that makes him a badass, he got to do [relatively compared to other non-Reinhard/Kircheis Imperials] a lot that makes him such a great character. Chapter 2 was alright, it was a murder mystery where Reinhard and Kircheis solve a crime. It was alright, but as far as mysterys go, it wasn't that great. Chapter 3 was Kircheis alone helping solve a criminal case, and featured Kircheis beasting like 5 guys in a zero-gravity knife fight. Those two chapters weren't nearly as strong, and didn't really grab you like other parts of LoGH. If they were a bit better, I would have given Gaiden 1 a 9/10, but as it stands, I have to settle on giving it a 8/10.

I wanted to stream anime, but sadly my computer/internet sucks too much and it wouldn't work quite well. So I guess I will see if I can stream VNs. For now I'll try Sharin since it's the only one I have right now D:

Yeah, I'm getting a 500GB. I highly doubt I'll use that much, but I guess you can never know.

36.4 GB free on my HDD (started with 222 GB).
Nearly all of it is anime lol
Probably the second highest would be all the music I have on here. Though I'm sure all the pics that I've saved off of Pixiv and stuff take up a lot of space by now >.>

  Better quality?
If the audio is off, you can re-sync it, while online players rarely give the function.
And if you have it downloaded already, you can watch it as much as you want without using bandwidth. And can watch with no net access. And can give it to someone else to watch in it's glorious HQ.
  ^^
Edit: And what guy above me said, maybe.
